What Game Did You Play Today?

Played Arkham Origins for a bit then quit because I kept losing to a bunch of people. Then played some more Death to Spies.

Pyro, I don’t think that’ll fly in DS2… The Bench in there is merely used to put new power nodes on guns, the whole resource thing was added in DS3 (because SCAF couldn’t possibly have shops the way Ishimura and Sprawl had).

In DS3, though, I’d totally recommend Military Engine + Rail Accelerator (? The point is to create the precision auto rifle) and underslung Survey Charge + (Errr…) Directed Ejection Field - well, a Rocket launcher, simply) and then mount a Safety Guard… So much insta-win! (The Rocket Launcher doesn’t harm your CoOp buddy as far as I’ve experienced, and putting a Safety Guard on your own weapon can result in an epic-grade situation-unfucker)

The other weapon I was quite fond of was whatever passes for a sniper rifle (Seeker Rifle?) with underslung Hydraulic Hammer, that was using Flame Glaze and Ammo Sweeper… No scope meant I pretty much created an analogue to a WWII bolt action rifle with a bayonet

Oh, right, wrong game.

But you shouldn’t use any of the assault rifles except the pulse rifle on DS3. Using a normal gun in Dead Space is like playing Half-Life without using the gravity gun… it’s just boring.

Well, as I said, I quite enjoyed that assault rifle/rocket launcher combo…

And that N7 armor was just… Mmm. Just a shame it isn’t the ACTUAL N7 Armor from say ME3, just with the RIG on the back and holo on the front… :frowning:

Well, I started playing Prince of Persia, Warrior Within. A revisit after years. It’s actually a very well made game, quite a lot of fun. The final boss is hard as fuck though.

Finished Mafia II

Bit of Trine. Picked it up in a Humble Bundles ages ago and decided I’d finally give it a whirl.

Just reinstalled FEAR

Yep, still love this game

Dammit, now I wanna play F.E.A.R. again.

Tested out Arkham Origins and Metro LL with my new CPU. For some reason Physx was by default set to run on my CPU and not my GPU. Also it looks like now that my CPU isn’t overclocked I can finally run Metro LL without it crashing so I’ll finally get to play it.

Finally got to play some Outlast. Got to the part where you have to restart the generator and I’m getting my butt kicked by the patient (?) guarding the generator. I’m finding it much more scary than Amnesia: The Dark Descent. So far, I’m liking it a lot.

Bought and finished Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon and finished Far Cry 3 a couple of days ago. Fun times.

I’m just waiting for a steam sale to nab Outlast. It looks like fun.

More FEAR, even knowing all the scares the game still has great atmosphere and makes me look over my shoulder, even if it hasn’t made me jump anymore.

Though that will probably change by the time I get to the [COLOR=‘Black’]Ninjas since they were scary because they were tough, intelligent enemies that were hard to kill.

“Who’s ready for Ninjas? Nobody! They’re Ninjas!”

Do I even remember it right?

I´m searching for an old (probably MS-DOS) poin-and-click game…the only thing i remember about the plot is that there was a boy,who had bad marks at the end of the school year (although he had “A” from math) and so his father send him to his room…and now your task is to help the boy logicly escape the house…any suggestions?

as for the topic - currently playing the new Shadow Warrior…oldschool, but cool

Homestuck maybe?

Bought Fallout 3 GotY and New Vegas Ultimate for a total of $10.

God damn it, I love Steam.

Recorded some gameplay of FEAR
