It’s possible that there are two teams, one for HL3 and the other for HL2:Ep3.

/baseless speculation

Either way, we now can do away with the “Valve can’t count to 3” meme.

One thing he’s really good at is finding abandoned areas and similar source material and working them into levels. Remember that cool area in Portal 2 you work your way through right after falling down the elevator shaft? That was mostly him, and there’s a developer commentary there where he gives a ridiculous list of source material he used for that area, everything from rocket scrapyards to polish shipyards.

Polish shipyards? He was going to use that material for MINERVA: Out of Time…

Yes, I remember. Doesn’t mean he can’t use it for something else.

Well yeah, any research is useful research.

Still, I bet my 2 cents with Valve eventually counting to three. With three products with all threes in it.

ricochet 2 has not been released yet

“Because fuck you all, we can count to three.”

not as of yet

So this trademark thing was fake

</3

Oh for fuck’s sake.

haha another fucking fake, we should’ve forseen this

Quit being an ass -.-

How do you even fake a copyright registration?

Should have seen that one coming…

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
