Erm… wheres that from?
Fake?
It’s not fake. Just keep punching yourself in the head; it’ll be released soon.
I’m so exited :retard:
Of course it’s fake, it still says Episode 3.
So when the actual Episode 3 comes out, what will be the proper way of reminding you how wrong you are? Would spamming you with messages quoting every instance of you saying “Half-Life 3” suffice?
“Gabe Newell: We’ve moved beyond the episodic model”
An interview shows, that it’s unlikely that there will be a Episode 3. There is now a higher chance for a new full length Half Life than a Episode.
Is that fake? well, I guess if you didn’t have the Portal 2 Potato ARG, it might take people 5 years to find the GLaDOS countdown page, too… Well I guess we have until the 13th to find out…
That site’s down now, it seems. What was there?
Let´s wait and we´ll see…
That is not evidence that Episode 3 will not come out nor is it evidence that the continuation of the story will be on Half-Life 3.
This is the real conclusion to half-life. After a small funeral Gordon and Alex go head to the Borealis in the helicopter when it crashes into Aperture Science and they use the portal gun and their regular weapons to fight the soldier that GLaDOS trained. These soldiers are the people she finds at the end of portal 2 co-op. The soldiers will fight you with portal guns and regular weapons and use the two for tactual advantage. There will be a boss fight with GLaDOS and then after that Gordon and Alex will be aboard the Borealis. Once there they will find another dimensional Xen device similar to the one in Half-Life 1. Also they will find a very powerful weapon that is capable of destroying a whole planet. Gordon and Alex will bring this weapon to the combine home world. While this is going on a big uprising is happening. All the races have joined the human resistance and there is a big super battle. Dr. Breen will still be alive and half a robot. Gordon will kill him with his crowbar and then the G-man appears and explains to Gordon who he really is. The G-man is an all powerful being who knows all and sees all. He is similar to the monolith in the end of 2001: a space odyssey. A God like figure. The G-man, as protector of the universe, didn’t like the combine controlling and in-slaving all the other races. So he looked for a possible solution. He knows that if he led the combine to Earth it would set off a chain of events that would cause Gordon to defeat them once and for all. The only scenario that defeats the combine is if he leads to the events of the resonance cascade. This is why he looks like a bad guy and a good guy at the same time. Because he knows if he sets of the events just right all the races will be free, earth will be fine, and the combine will be defeated. The bomb goes off. The Combine are defeated. All the combines’ prisoners are saved in time of the exploration. Then Alex and Gordon live happily ever after, the end.
Good thing the writers at Valve aren’t complete idiots like you.
Did you make an account for that?
That was so terrible I think you gave me cancer.
… and who the heck is Alex?
Anyway, the big wigs just determined that cell phones might cause brain cancer, I am quite sure that cell phones will have their part in defeating the combine than.
No. I stop here for the good of all of us, and I don’t expect much from this thread anyway. When Valve will begin revealing information from the next Half-Life game, the story will be quickly put together.
Ban him! Ban him quick before he post any shit again!
Whoa, talk about bad first post.
I keeep punchun mt hed but thet damn timrr dusnt go any fastttttghrrhrrhrhrhrhrhrhrrrhr:retard:
OT: Let me repeat myself: why do people always like to mention “IT WAS ALL A DREAM” in these kinds of threads?
Because they want to get the thread over with and not hear any more insanely stupid ideas like KyleElite’s.
Honestly, I don’t know why this thread is still alive, yet on threads that are actually INTERESTING no one ever wants to say anything. It’s kinda like how CoD has remained the “top of the gaming market” for so long, yet games like System Shock 2 and the original Half-Life fade into obscurity…
never thought about the plot until i finished episode 2, which was so much better than ep1 or hl2. Really the only thought that came into my mind was going back to black mesa 20 years ago and taking the specimen, therefore changing the history of the next 20 years, but then i remembered the borealis and thought, portal gun.
