HL2 Ep3 plot speculation thread (NO SILLY THEORIES)

What will Gordon do on the Borealis?

What Aperture Science technology awaits?

Do you get to fly that Helicopter you were about to get into at the end of Episode 2, or does Alyx?

Speculate here!

(Nothing silly or baseless please. Start a silly thread for those.)

it´s true that this thread was here many times…but realise that there are still around thousands of other fans, who didn´t have chance to discuss about it…so if you´re bored from this thread than why are you posting here?

About Gordon, he has to do his job…but I still have a bad feeling about Kleiner…he doesn´t want to destroy the Borealis, because there is a chance to use the technology against the Combine, so there might be a possibility that Kleiner will want to stop Gordon in this…but that´s just my theory …
for the helicopter, I think it´ll be Alyx…imagine - combine has killed her father, her only relative, she had …so basically she will ride the helicopter…she wants to get on Borealis for some sort of revenge…at least I´m sure of it …

Gordon and Alyx head to the Borealis t-…

You will regain consciousness near or at the end of the helicopter flight. Valve would never have Gordon pilot the helicopter, because it would require taking control away from the player if they used a scripted flight path & utterly impossible without. I wouldn’t be surprised if the pilot was Barney & the audio commentary said it was because of the emails they got because of his absence in EP2.

THE PORTAL GUN!. No seriously i think there’s gonna be a old version of the portal gun on the Borealis. And its probaly gonna look very old and dirty.

Very unlikely that there will be a Episode 3 so /thread.

Yeah I suppose that’s a possibility.

I’m pretty sure that Alyx, having just seen her father murdered, is not going to just spring into action and say “Hey Gordon let’s get going”.
It really seems like the writers have dug themselves a big hole and I can’t imagine how they’ll get themselves out of it.

Edit:

nnnnnnoooooooo

It’s ALL going to be baseless. What a daft thing to say. We have no idea what’s going to be in Episode 3.

There will be no Episode three nor Half Life 3, just Half Life 2,99+0,01: New adventures of Gordon Freeman

you and Barney will go to the borealis witout alyx, then she comes back and you go all badass on some combine

What about Judith ?

I’d find her in an igloo and give ‘er a good spankin’… that about it… :retard:

You dog!

This thread has been on every single forum on the whole entire internet at least 7 times over the past 4 years. I am tired of seeing it. So I vote for a lock

I decided to investigate this, but all I found was pornography. Lots and lots of pornography…

Anyway I think you’ve made your opinion clear, try a different thread.

Back on topic, I’ve got great confidence in the writing staff at Valve. They’ll do justice to the last chapter, but I genuinely don’t know what to expect. For me, that’s what makes a great game :stuck_out_tongue:

I think she will come with you, but she may randomly cry a lot of her loss of her father. Barney would be a fun character to have along, providing humor to the game.

I expected someone to answer that to a question like this. You guys always link Aperture with the portal gun, but haven’t you thought about if that ship could have contained some sort of other technology.

I know Judith said that the combine had limited teleportation technology at Black Mesa East so it has to be that thinking about the portal storms, but Gordon suddenly grabbing a portal gun!? That isn’t just a stupid plot twist, but it also would ruin and turn the Half-Life franchise’s whole gameplay into portal! Why not call it “Portal 3: Half-Life”?

Why must people who have already seen this thread a million times have to write in it?

Because we come up with new things to say all the time. It helps our creativity! :retard:

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
