f*ck it, I’m out of here. I shared my ideas, so I see no point of staying. I won’t miss you, see you later.
We’ll miss you
Survival of the fittest, I guess.
Left with a precision F-Strike 'tho.
Do a flip!
I can’t decide if he’s serious or just the greatest troll these forums have ever seen.
Seriously, Vampire, you are like an 8 year old who just discovered the Internet and you get offended because people react to your naivety. Get real.
ignore
Anyways, abotu combining Aperture tech with Half-Life 2; It’s possible with button-based portals and deadly lasers, and of course some test chambers for the Gravity Gun that was, through my opinion, created by Aperture, blueprints of it was stolen by the combine and then stolen by the resistance who created another one made of combine technology. So, the Borealis is seen as a research ship with technology from Aperture Labs. So going in there not seeing any of it would be completley illogical.
So, when the combine took controll of Earth, they of course searched the whole planet for remaining citizens and aliens, either by themselves or by scanners. So we can only guess that they either found Aperture and along with it Borealis, or they just found Borealis. When they controlled the earth, people would obviously resist somehow, so they had to hide their leader, and where else would be a perfect hidingplace then a legendary ship that’s known as missing? Either we’ll find a full body Leader, or his personality put in to an early model of GLaDOS. Or maybe Breen’s personality in a GLaDOS model. But I doubt it, it will probably be a Leader to fight in the end.
So, we all know that Advosors will guard the outside, and maybe inside, of the Borealis, but how will we fight their mind-power? What weapons do we have against it? Of course we can shoot it, but eventually they will get close enough to throw away our weapons and press us against a wall.
I supose that Alyx have already told Kleiner and Eli what happened during their two visits in the Citadel, aspecialy with the Gravitygun. And Eli probably told Mossman too. So we can persume that we must save Mossman before entering the Borealis, and she’s probably far from it. So, at first we’ll resque her, she will help you to charge the Gravitygun and then send you off towards Borealis.
So, what can a simple Gravitygun do against the advisors? Well, it can pull humans and combine against you, right? And it can throw them away too. So, if an advisor gets close enough, we press the primary trigger to push them backwards, we shoot at them until they get too close, switch to the gravitygun and push them back again until we kill them. Or we bring a Vortigaunt that can fight it while we hold it off. Or we bring DOG, but he wouldn’t fit the chopper.
About the chopper, it’s very old and it will probably run out of fuel or crash or something, so that a vort has to fix it while we do a side-mission or something.
I imagine the Combine Leader to be a huge verision of the Advisor, with a tongue that snatches after me while I run across the room, if I get too close it will lift me up and kill me. I expect its powers to have a specific range.
So, we will through my theories use deadly lasers to hurt its tounge, then we’ll smash the glass to a tube with Aperture Bombs running through it and throw the bombs at the Leader, if we throw it before hurting its tounge, it will just catch ti with its powers. But as it’s in pain, it doesn’t have the concentration to catch the bombs, therefore we can hit it. So, I imagine that all of our remaining weapons is a crowbar and the gravitygun.
Anyways, the more bombs that hits it, the angrier it gets. And the angrier it gets, the harder it becomes to avoid the tounge. I imagine there to be a monitor showing how much health the Leader has, and we’ll finally manage to cut its tounge off, putting it in intense pain. You’ll throw another bomb at it, its health monitor shows that it only has one percent health left. It will suddenly catch the bomb in mid air and a Portal 2-ish “cutscene” will start. The Leader will attempt to throw the bomb at you, but its powers fails and the momb instead lands infront of you, as you have the Gravitygun in your hands, you drop it and it lands in front of the Leader who tries to gain his powers back, trying to lift the Gravitygun. Gordon looks in front of him, seeing the crowbar. He picks it up and rises, then he starts to run towards the Leader, raising his crowbar to stab it.
Then the classical black screen shows itself and the white simple text: “Half-Life 3”
Call me an idiot, but that’s how I imagine it. When we destroy the Leader, we have been informed before, that will also destroy Borealis somehow, and as Gordon is inside of it, he’ll die. Therefore ending the Half-Life stories about Gordon Freeman, but who says that the Half-Life Saga is ending because of that?
Anyways, we all know that Valve told us “We’ll meet a well known character from Black Mesa”. Most of us hopes for Shephard, but that would be idiotic. G-Man and his bosses didn’t think that he was qualified for Gordon’s job, therefore he’s put to stasis for the rest of his life, the only reason of bringing him back is if Gordon would fail to destroy the combine, but since we won’t, Shephard won’t return.
It would be nice to see Otis again, but that wouldn’t make any sence either. Maybe we’ll see Rosenburg or something, since he, Barney, Simmon’s and someone else got out of Black Mesa too.
I’d say he’s serious!
:pffft: :tired:
Your an idiot vamp.
Funny… When I actually re-read the over-wiki and post what to me is a logical theory, you don’t even bother to read it before mocking me. I’d rather be an idiot with theories then a lazy teen aristocrat.
Please for the love of God, stop using the word aristocrat there. It doesn’t work. And a lot of the people ‘mocking’ you are not teens.
You see no more point in staying and sharing your ideas, but suddenly you still do.
We see no more point in replying/reading your posts.
I want my user title to be “Lazy Teen Aristocrat.”
You must be trolling right?
If you aren’t, then:
First of all, Eli couldn’t tell Mossman anything, because he doesn’t have any contact with her anymore. She’s in the Arctic, and has no communication with the Resistance. Her transmission didn’t even go to Eli, it just went to the doorstep of the Combine who intercepted it.
Second of all, why the hell would the Combine place one of their leaders on earth?
Third, a Portal 2ish cut-scene? And Aperture bombs? I would rather want a original boss fight than copying Portal 2, which is one hell of a great game.
Forth, what about the thing thats in the Borealis? (Not talking about the Leader, talking about what Aperture put in it)
And fifth, why the hell would Shepherd be put into stasis if they had no use for him? Why will he stay in stasis if he isn’t going to be used? Personally, I think he could be used, but not for taking down the Combine directly (Gordon’s job). Shepherd could be used for weakening the Combine forces in a way that might help Gordon, or he could be taking out the last pockets of the Combine forces that are on Earth.
Why should anyone bother to read it before mocking you? You’ve already shown that you’re a hypocrite by saying you were done and then posting again. What does anyone owe you except ridicule?
And just for the record, I’d rather be a lazy teen aristocrat. What’s your point? Are you going to construct a theory that shows being an idiot with theories is morally superior to being both a teen and lazy?
They could have talked before she traveled off to the artic…
To lead the combine? To controll Breen so that he doesn’t overuse his power? How would the combine survive without a leader?
There will clearly be Aperture Technology in the Borealis, and the Aperture bombs are very similar to the combine bombs dropped by the chopper.
They simply put Aperture tech, as I wrote above, to ship it to other enrichment centers, there wasn’t just one Aperture as all of us know, if we read some about it.
I see that you have never played Half-Life Opposing Force… And it’s Shephard by the way. In the end of OF, G-Man tells you that he thinks that Shephard might have been qualified for a job in his apployment, but that people above him thought diffrently, therefor he’s put in to stasis for the rest of his life where he can do no more harm to anyone.
You’re correcting him on his spelling of Shephard, Mr. Brokened?

When correcting someone on their spelling, make sure your post isn’t also littered with spelling errors. Makes you look like less of a choad.
