Eli comes back as an advisor in HL3. It turns out his mind was put into a host body just before he died.
Breen is still dead tho

I’m personally of the opinion that they should go and make elements of Minerva: Metastasis canon and have the Borealis contain a teleporter capable of reaching the ancient world the combine were tunnelling to at in Metastasis - where extremely ancient artifacts and weapons can be found.
Hey, Adam Foster works at Valve now, right? So they should be legally able to use that.
It could make for an extremely cool setting. Imagine a near-dead world, with the worn skeletons of once unfathomably vast structures half-buried in the sand, as alien birds wheel in the sky…
I have a problem.
I’m not interested in Half-life 3 anymore.
Aw shit son.
What about Black Mesa Xen?
lol
Everyone’s still interested in more HL and BM, don’t be silly.
^ Undoubtedly so.
However Valve chooses to announce it, be it an ARG or something mundane, the internet will go critical.
It’ll cause a resonance cascade.
I can’t abandon interest with a fucking cliffhanger like EP2’s.
That’s basically what’s kept me going so long too
i honestly dont even remember how it ended, I’ve only played it once
Alyx dies in a fire.
Eli dies.
Spoilers. >
Gordon speaks
lol I meant the cliffhanger specifically, i remember the general storyline
D0G died.
I’m not kidding about HL3 though.
Well of course, I mean it came out in the 90’s and we all know it was the golden age of video games. :3
Well, it sorta was.
Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
