I eyed the possibility to re-play HL1 - 2 with episodes if HL3 gets announced or released, meaning I’ll replace HL1 with BM obvsly. But only when BM is complete, meaning Xen is out. I’m curious what’s going to drop first: BM complete on Steam or HL3 being announced (because I guess the release is obvsly later than BM, even if that also may take a while)
I’m waiting for the full BM release, and the new unofficial HL2 update, so hopefully all four games can be brought up to par within a reasonable timeframe, and then the HL experience is complete
… until HL3 is released, which will obviously be very different from previous source HL games.
Ideally, imo, all the HL games should be in one executable, as one game. That would be really cool.
Personally I’m not too fussed about gearbox remakes, unless they’re made for/integrated with BM
