And that is fucking awesome Ibanez, I salute you all the way.
DOOM II
Wolfenstein 3d was my first. When Doom and its later sequels were released, I remember never being able to pick a favorite. That all changed once Duke Nukem 3d was released. For 3 years there was a new king in town, that is until Gordon Freeman showed up in 99. lol
O and I was talking strictly PC. My first console shooter was Doom…good old Genesis 32X lol. Than I believe Turok, Goldeneye, Turok 2, and Perfect Dark on N64. The N64 controller was sweet for FPS (move with C-pad, look with analog stick). Haven’t played FPS on consoles since.
Turok 3 for the N64, haha. I was like, 7. Then later the first one I actually played and knew what I was doing was Metroid Prime, then Metroid Prime 2, then Half Life about a year or two ago (!)
Star Wars Battlefront.
Or if that doesn’t count, Call of Duty Finest Hour.
Requesting that photoshopped picture of halo changed to “My First FPS”
Wolf 3D
Duke Nukem 3D
Duke Nukem 3d back when I was 6-7. I didn’t have a clue what was going on, but it was fun.
Goldeneye 64, back in the mid-to-late 90s.
:jizz:
:aah: Freaking sweet!
Also holy crap, I totally forgot about Chexquest. That was…wow, just remembering that game exists makes me feel nostalgic. That’s gotta be my first FPS now that I think about it. Damn this makes me feel weird.
Medal of honor allied assault was the first fps I ever played.
Wolfenstein 3D.
Half Life 2, I think
Rainbow Six on PS.
Doom I, it was so scary
My first FPS was on PlayStation --> Medal of Honor: Underground.
PS Great Soundtrack^^
Unreal or Perfect Dark. I don’t remember which one.
Rainbow Six: Lone Wolf for the PS1. It was terrible to be honest. 1 shot would kill you and it’s very hard to dodge bullets and angry russians when the game has 8 bit graphics.
Wolf3D back in the early 90’s…I feel old…
