Half Life 1
In 1999. I had no idea what I was playing.
Rediscovered via Half Life 2 in 2006.
No it isn’t. What do we do, name our favourite FPS? Or the first one we played? Do we post the one we think is “ours” on a sentimental level, or one we have actually made?
Mine first FPS was Star Wars: Battlefront 2, oddly enough.
I played Doom first.
Doom 1. Demo.
Hard to recall, it’s been so long. It was probably Star Wars Dark Forces 2: Jedi Knight, but it could have easily been Doom, Quake, or Wolfenstein.
Doom 2
I played that game to hell and back every day. Never figured out how to beat it though. the last level always got me. with all those spawning enemies it was hard.
My bro says I played Doom first, altho I don’t remember it (was like in year 96-97), then I quess it was Half-Life around in 1999-2000 when my bro borrowed it from a friend of his.
First I’d ever seen was Doom for the Playstation, but the first I’d ever played was Turok the Dinosaur Hunter/Turok Evolution
