We (the forum staff) provide a vital service to this community out of good will. We spend our own free time (that could be spent doing more enjoyable things) moderating and administrating a website that is slowly but surely dying because DarksydePhil is stifling any kind of creative expression that does not shine a glowing light on him. Recently, there was a thread created that raised grievances regarding a certain moderator of DSP’s stream, and their actions in the chat. Within 2 hours we saw the largest gathering on the website since the last major giveaway, and this is for one main reason: because those people had a point. Unfortunately that thread was closed as soon as DSP caught wind of it and the other moderators in the stream chat were regarded as ‘doing nothing’. We do not think this is acceptable. These people provide a vital service to your ‘business’ and you simply insult them as a way to weasel out of a difficult situation, something which we find completely unfair.

It is for these main reasons that we as a collective moderating and administrative team are standing down from the forum for the foreseeable future. People may think that running a website under such circumstances is easy. Let me assure you that it is not. It takes a lot of hours and dedication to make sure that the rules are not broken and that there is a fair base for users to discuss topics which they find interesting, as well as assisting people who have queries about DSP and his content. On top of this there is the ever growing and persisting issue of threads which DarksydePhil does not deem worthy to stay open, but the rest of the staff have no issue with. There have been numerous occasions in which DSP has shut down a perfectly decent conversation because he feels that there are ’too many haters in it’ even if it is just his fans voicing their completely honest and perfectly reasonable opinions.
