Xbox One Discussion Thread

According to the leaks on the subject matter, the way it works is that they don’t get really invasive unless some shit you say sets off a filter. This could be something you say through anything. Any chat client, any forum, any E-mail, that kind of shit. Once they get enough buzzwords, then they start using the taps they have on your shit. They’re always open though.

I would imagine that it’s limited to textual communication, though.

what’s stopping me from putting some solid tape over the camera and microphone when i don’t want to use them? Will it say “Sorry, but your face needs to be registered in order to continue to Halo 5”

I think that’s exactly what will happen. The Kinect has to detect something for the console to function.

can it detect money going toward things that are not it

^ Win.

^lol they must be drunk

The fact that they’re even acknowledging the existence of complainers on their facebook page is a step up from most.

Can someone explain me how do they imagine Cloud gaming to work? Sounds impossible.

Well, the way Forza’s doing it is pretty interesting.

https://www.onlive.com/

they never said it was gonna be straight up streaming though, they said it wasn’t gonna be used for latency-sensitive rendering but instead for all the things like VVIS/VRAD THAT ARE USUALLY PRE-RENDERED AND PERMANENTLY ENGRAVED INTO THE DVD FOR FUCK’S SAKES

tbh it’s good stuff

So if it perks up when you say “gee i sure do love to chow down on some doritos brand tortilla chips as i play other members of the 18-34 crowd” will it respond negatively to “eric why the fuck did you buy an xbox? my ps4 is so much nicer and has better exclusives”

the xbone network is about to become skynet

Here’s your processing power and storage capacity.

check out these single white male demo-graphics

But cloud can’t be used for rendering in real time, right? The way I get it, Forza or what **** gets played at Microsoft’s side even after you turn off ur console and once you turn it on, you download the processed progress.

who the hell wants the game to play itself. Also, who the hell wants an AI running around with their gamertag when they’re not online?

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
