Haha, what a fucking joke.
Xbox One has no games.

Was a pretty terrible conference. I’m sad that Remedy sold their soul to Microsoft.
And yeah, I was expecting a lot of the TV and non video game stuff but they went above and beyond what I was expecting.
What the fuck is up with the VHS flap?? It doesn’t even look like it can take a tape in!
I wonder how they came up with the design
draws square
“It’s genuis!”
We don’t know what PS4 looks like yet, so don’t expect any better.
So what, they take 359 steps back or something?
I actually thought the video/Kinect stuff was very well done, but I figured it would just be a short intro to a long and interesting show. Nope. Went straight to shit.
this was a bigger fail than riptide 2 multiplayer at the google IO conference
haha wtf microsoft
counting on the fact E3 is so close, I didn’t think it was as bad as everyone was making out. They had the option to gamble like this when Sony didn’t.
What’s 19 days in the life of a console. I mean c’mon; everyone who cared enough to watched the the livestreams will be all over the Xbox One games announcements at E3, hell this will probably make you anticipate them more
The voice recognition/kinect UI controls would have been pretty impressive if it wasn’t totally staged.
Also when are developers gonna learn that “live action” does not mix with video games unless its rendered in 3D. I thought they would have learned their lesson with the early CD consoles.
Also they announced the Halo TV show. It’s Steven Spielberg.
Still, the name.
Why not Xbox Neo or Xbox TriVi.
They thought HTC was on to something that’s for sure.
Goddamn you, thanks for reminding of how much I want a HTC One.
they didnt show any videogames gameplay, all that tv stuff, Imo microsoft should have waited for the E3 if they are holding to show videogames there.
I will say one thing in it’s favor…it looks like a genuine box.
Now, whether that shows effort on the part of Microsoft or not, I have no idea. Probably not.
Microsoft is trying to extend to a more “multimedia” market, and that means proving that Xbox is much more than a gaming console.
The problem with this is that it alienates the original gaming market. While Microsoft is grasping at straws to demonstrate that even non-gamers should own this console, not displaying ANY games is pretty poor on their part.
I’m guessing (eh, more like hoping) that the majority of their real announcements for gaming will be part of E3.
If their E3 goes the way of their past couple of E3s, filled with TV and non-gaming stuff, then that will be ridiculously disappointing. They’ve shown off their TV stuff today, hopefully they don’t have to clutter E3 with it anymore like they’ve done for the past 3 years or whatever.
What I’m wondering is how much it’s going to cost now that they’ve included the Kinect with it.
