Xbox 360 games vs. PS3 games

Not what I’m saying at all. We were talking about exclusive games on 360 and PS3. Now we’re talking about the world of Metal Gear. It would be better if one made a topic about this and we moved our discussion there instead.

Also: I’ll be sure to use the edit button for now on.

Alright, I see what you’re saying. Sorry about derailing this topic.

It’s no problem. I figured I should say something before a Mod comes in saying the same thing.

Currently I’m still trying to find the PS3’s answer to Halo 3, ie the multiplayer game that will keep me playing for years to come. Killzone 2 is fun, but it’s just too slow for me (there’s a delay for everything you do with the controls. It’s just way too fluid.) Metal Gear Online is okay, but it’s full of lag and idiot hosts (goddamn Konami forcing an online mode in a series that doesn’t need it.) Resistance 1 just blows (as I said before.) Hopefully the second time’s a charm.

[Emerges cautiously from hiding, looks around and sighs in relief]

I like the second one, never played the first one. Halo 3 is good but it gets boring and repetitive after a while. I would say Resistance 2 would be a good replacement. Note that I don’t own a PS3.

Edit: Like my new avatar guys?

Battlefield 1943 and Warhawk really do it for me as far as multiplayer PS3 games go. I know they’re both basically downloadable small games, but DAMN are they fun (and yes, I know 1943 is multiplat)

I’ve played 1943 before, loads of fun. I haven’t had the chance to play Warhawk yet though.

Edit: ROFL nice picture bulbman

The vehicles are really fun, and the maps and game modes are entertaining and awesome. One of my best memories from Warhawk: Some of my teammates had just driven a jeep into the enemy base and stolen the flag. They were driving back out when I noticed that the main road was completely land-mined by the enemy. I tried shooting out the land mines but didn’t get them all in time, and we all blew up in a fiery mess.

Another time I watched some teammates driving by in a tank, obliterating everyone they saw, when suddenly a whooshing sound came from above and they exploded, the enemy dropped a bomb on them from an airplane.

…My team sounds really unlucky, don’t they?

Is there a demo for Warhawk?

I like how the movement is slower in Killzone 2. It makes me feel like I really am a soldier bogged down by heavy gear and pads. And if Killzone 2’s multiplayer doesnt satisfy you (hard to believe) Resistance 2’s definitely will.

Yes, do eet! Warhawk is one of my all-time favorite games.

Why yes there is. Go play it.

Hmmmm…
I’ll download it right now. I’ll kill some time by trying to get the Big Boss Emblem in MGS4.

The only problem with the PS3 is that I have no friends on it. My 360 earns big points in that area though.

IMPOSSIBLE!!!

Not unless you have the Solar Gun, every non-lethal gun/ammo ever, a video walkthrough, a shit load of saves, and an extraordinary amount of patience.
I’ve already cleared Act 1 in just less than 40 minutes. Everything beyond Act 2 should be a breeze.

Johnkiller, why don’t you add me, (PSN: Moldorma). I’m sure we have some games in common to play.

You can add me if you want too. Kairouseki.
