thanks for clarifying

Not at the moment. Definitely not.

besides, i dont think people will be comfortable talking all the time for a long while

So apparently the keyboard and mouse is the best thing about PC gaming? I think not, as I said the things that come from the fact that PC is an open platform are the good things about pc gaming. There are plenty of preferential for other devices to uses for gaming and if you haven’t looked around there are several portable devices (phones tablets and alike) coming out specifically with gaming in mind.

Ya sure a mouse is nice and accurate but you don’t need the extra accuracy to play games really. The only time its noticeable is if you play online against other people with mice.

Again its the “I don’t like it” and “I’m not good at it” argument. That just shows that its not that you don’t think kb/m dying isn’t true you just really don’t want it to.

Not denying it’s not going to happen, Because it definitely will at some point. But you’re right in saying that I don’t want it to, i don’t in all honesty… But as previously mentioned. with new technology, we will adapt to the changes so it’s not really a huge deal.

Also, surplus, what is your sig? Someone lighting a huge fucking spider on fire? I’m not entirely sure what it is. lol :stuck_out_tongue:

He is thawing a steak.

on the toilet

P1 The FPS experience is the staple of PC gaming, really. Not platformers, not puzzle games… And the mouse is the best suited for the task.

P1 The ones that focus on gaming have dpads as the primary input method, not touch screens.

P2 You kind of said it yourself. Also you don’t need horizontal plane of motion to play a game either, hell, you don’t even need sound. Not a very good point there.

P3 I could care less. It’s the best thing out there right now though.

And again, it’s been proven gazillion times that FPS feels just fine on consoles.
Besides, pure, accuracy-dependant FPS like Q3 and CS became obsolete quite a while ago. As much as I love my fast-paced Q3, concept just does not go anywhere anymore.

Same with RTS’. Since DoW2 and SC2, we haven’t gotten shit in this department.

The only considerable advantage of PC gaming is modding, however, seeing how Skyrim on consoles is going to get mods… yeah, whatever.

Obviously the actual modding should be done on PCs (shit like “forge” is a pain in the ass), but it would be sweet as fuck if console games started to provide more mod support.

Yeah definitely, the only game on a console I can recall having a degree of Mod support is Unreal tournament 3 on the PS3.

This. It’s also worth mentioning that UT3 botmatches on consoles were frantic random fun instead of pin accuracy headshot fests on pc.

Little Big Planet is like a huge mod made of mods that you can mod.

You can even make FPS games in that thing :o

You fuckers just can’t help yourselves can you?

:fffuuu:

a trend of retardedly bad ideals :brow:

The fuck it does, lmao console fps aiming is not fine at all a mouse is near instantaneous compared to the speed at which a joystick can aim. Also why do you think they put aim assist in nearly all console shooters(first person or otherwise)

I have hardly ever seen aim assist in console shooters.

really? than name one without it. it’s likely you just don’t notice because your used to it.
