Yet you never stopped bitching about how unstable Windows is, and that it crashes at the slightest provacation from programs. Don’t try to cover up when your bullshit was called out. You blatantly said for 3 pages that Windows is extremely unstable and can’t run a single program with a music player in the background, and that OSX can, which I, and several others, have proven is false.
FUCK ME! You two really can’t read, can you?
Where did I ever say that Windows crashes at every bump in the road? Nowhere, that’s where! What I did say was "When an application crashes on Windows, other applications suffer a performance spike until the crashed app is shut off (like if MW2 crashes, Winamp goes “lolstutter” for a while until MW is completely shut off). Now, what you two scamps read was “LOL WIDNOWS CRASHES ALL DE TIME”. If an application in OSX crashes, the other running applications won’t suffer a performance hit as much as it would in Windows. And -that- is why I consider Windows less stable than OSX. I never said anything about it crashing more often than OSX.
As a matter of fact, Premiere just crashed earlier (and I didn’t safe the last hour or so, QQ), but the computer didn’t run slower for a while, itunes didn’t stutter, my plugged in guitar didn’t get any delay or anything. Premiere just crashed and I had to force it to quit. And that’s just simply something Windows doesn’t handle as good as OSX does. If an app in Window crashes 100 times, an app in OSX will also crash 100 times, difference being that OSX handles it better than Windows. And that is why I believe OSX is more stable than Windows. Not because it crashes less, but because it handles crashes better.
It’s not my fault that you decided to start reading between the lines and making up theories of what I was trying to say.
I’ve never had a crashed app in Windows impact my other programs, I don’t know what you’re smoking…

This thread is no longer serious.
I laughed so hard at that page. The best part is, it’s true.
If only Maddox would release some decent updates now.

There might be a reason for that:
On my iPod Touch, I can’t even watch Flash cartoons (one of my favorite sites, Homestar Runner, is inaccessible) because Apple REFUSES to allow Adobe to port Flash to the iPod. Only Apple-approved products are allowed. So, yes, you’ve got a fairly stable system, but the cost is lack of programming freedom.
Or Windows.
Which is why the Mac I use breaks down more often requiring an entire computer reboot than the PC I use?
Macs are for people that hate Windows. Windows is for people that use computers.
Heh, what can I say. None of the arguments seems to be at least reasonable to you, so it’s really pointless to discuss anything. Bolteh said preety much what I think too.
The worst is, that most of you talk like you’re kids (and some actually are) who don’t have their own opinion, and just repeat what they’ve heard. That’s quite sad.
As someone metioned before, your problem guys is that you can’t imagine dividing work on different machines. You would like to have on mac everything like on windows, and since you can’t, it’s bad. You can’t see that it can do few things better, because it can’t do the ones you would like to.
But wait, what am I expecting from gaming society?
Maybe you should stop beating your failing PC with your mac.
That’s what pink princess from venus told you in your dream when you were three and you still believe it.
Seriously, stop being pathetic.
Pretty ironic that you’re the one posting this.
wat
No. I believe it because it’s true. Look at every Windows commercial. They talk about Windows. Look at every Mac commercial. They talk about Windows.
Seriously, stop being pathetic.
We aren’t afraid of dividing work among machines, we just know windows does all kinds of work better. Your entire argument revolves around windows being less stable which is just complete bs.
You realize the reason this thread even exists is because a man named Steve jobs figured out how to market a piece of dog shit to a stupid consumer base. It’s this guys marketing that has you Mactards masturbating to every new Apple product and waiting online at midnight to pay $1,000 dollars for something that’s worth $200. i have to hand it to Mr. jobs because he has managed to trick a lot of people and take a nice chuck of the market share from Microsoft. Still though, Professionals will always use windows, 9.5/10 businesses will use windows due to the low cost, reliability and compatibility.
have fun sucking the corporate cock of Steve Jobs. Continue to be naive and think the price you pay for your over rated product is justified.
There’s a really good point; if Windows was truly that unstable why would businesses use them? Instability could cost them millions of dollars.
The amount of QQ is this thread is outstanding.
I wonder, how many of the OS X bashers have even used a mac for more than a day?
OS X has some innovative code going for it, like grand central dispatch and openCL compatible apps.
But hey, I don’t own a mac so what the fuck am I talking about.
Inversely, I wonder how many of the Windows bashers have even used Windows for more than a day and able to use it properly…
If Macs were as good as the fanboys say they are and Windows is as bad as they say they are, then why aren’t businesses around the world using them for their workstations?
About 50% of my posts in this thread were made using a mac. I use my mom’s macbook a lot because my pc is a desktop and my room is really cold.
cool story brah
