What Game Did You Play Today?

Finally got to play the Call of Juarez Gunslinger demo and it’s pretty cool, but I really hate how it only supports 16:9 resolutions. Feels really claustrophobic. Might pick it up if it goes on sale pretty low though. Engine seems pretty cool too, I hope they eventually make something else besides CoJ with it.

Edit: It seems like the engine has been used a lot actually. Most notably for Dead Island, which I enjoyed from what little I’ve played of it.

War Thunder.

Got my F8F-1 Bearcat before the patch. B-17G magic… And thank fuck, it’d take me at least three more months to get it the new (Corsair 1c) path… Now, onto the F9F-2/5!
Let me see if I can grind some modules before the patch, shorten my way to the Panther, hehe.

2 and IV are great (so far, haven’t beaten IV yet). The Third is a bit of a letdown, but still entertaining. IV is the only one with romancing. I can’t wait to get more peeps to see how those romances go. I should also replay the game as a man next time and see how they all go.

Played today some Team Fortress 2 after a long time. I love the new MvM missions.

BF4 Multiplayer

Now I remember why I held off on buying it. It seems the crash rate increases exponentially after each one.

In Saints Row IV I found all of the upgrade clusters, all of the available audio logs, destroyed all of the Ziniack statues, captured all of the towers and control points, infected all virus locations, hijacked all virus cars, hit all assassination targets, completed all loyalty missions from the MI6 woman and previous… All I have left right now are story missions.

Played some more Batman Arkham Origins. I’ve been finishing up some side missions such as facing Shiva and Deadshot, getting some Enigma files, and beating some Dark Knight challenges.

More Skyrim. Things been crashing a lot lately and I don’t even have 30 mods enabled. Maybe its all my followers deciding to spawn in one spot and colliding

Just done playing the first episode of The Wolf Among Us. It basically plays like The Walking Dead in the Fables universe and that’s just fine. I liked it a lot, although it felt shorter than an episode of TWD but that might have been from the choices I made.

A little Skyrim. I got to the point in the main quest where I learn Dragonrend and fight Alduin on the throat of the world. I don’t know if it’s SkyRe or the Deadly Dragons mod I have installed, but holy shit, Alduin is goddamn hax. He kept dropping this one-shot ice bomb on me that drained all of my health over the course of four seconds or so. And my character is in full Legendary Dragonbone armor with Ebonyflesh cast for the duration of the fight.

I’ve been trying to record those with my friends since they’ve been out, but we keep running into really random problems.

Finished Death to Spies. The ending was pretty weird. I hope the second game continues and explains what happened. Installing it right now.

Replaying Mass Effect with this mod. Visually, it’s a huge treat. Garrus’s face looks AMAZING with this update to the visuals. Plus, I think I might do a review on it, because honestly, the game is FAR, far better on PC than it was on 360.

More Arkham City. Since when has Ra’s al Ghul been pronounced “Raysh” instead of “Roz”?

Got the Starbound beta. Only had it 3 hours and they just patched it.

I’m really liking the larger variety of missions that seem to be in the second Death to Spies game after playing the first mission and looking at a few others. I can’t remember playing many spy games but these games do a really good job of making you feel like one.

Finished Sleeping Dogs. Probably the best written, most solidly designed open-world game I’ve played in a very long time. Absolutely worth a play to anyone who hasn’t tried it yet.

Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag…

Been stumbling through the Employee’s datapad a little, and got to the diary…

Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck, t’was really JUNO in the Bunker…

Going through the tutorials in Airland Battle. I hate infantry. At least when the game limits me to 1 tank the entire round.

played some half life multiplayer and some portal 2
