What Game Did You Play Today?

As recently mentioned, Aliens vs Predator 2, and now Aliens vs Predator 2010.

Gettin’ myself in a mental state for the upcoming release of Alien Isolation.

More STALKER.

I managed to get to what I’m pretty sure is the start of the good ending. I correctly guessed who Strelok is; now I just need to figure out why I have a mission to kill him…

Gone Home.

Completed it in a bit over two hours. I liked it, even though I was already spoiled on the twist, which you can figure out pretty early anyway.

I think this game gets too much undeserved hate. Hopefully this genre grows more acceptance by the community in the future.

A bit overpriced tho.

I play with my roommate, and a couple other cool guys. I like them, but they still give me shit. I was just in a bad mood when I wrote that, haha. But still. I haven’t won a game in like the last 15 matches or so. Since the team I play with are all really good players, I get matched up with more good players above my skill level. I’m getting better though.

I’m pretty much in the same boat. When I queue by myself I sometimes get decent matchups, but when I play with my friends who are all gold and plat tier I get slaughtered.

Maybe you and I can do some duo normals some time. What’s your summoner name?

Same as my forum name, actually. :stuck_out_tongue:

If you like being a tank who pisses people off get the champ Cho’Gath. His ult makes him bigger with more and more health.

That’s what Nasus is for! hah. I play Nid and Nasus top usually.

Titanfall, which I just bought.

If you raise the FOV, the reload animations completely break. With the CAR SMG, for instance, you can tell that your character just pulls the magazine out, holds it at the bottom of the screen, then sticks it back in.

You’re the worst kind of person. >:C

I finished the firt Company of Heroes a few days back. Great RTS game, very well balanced and quite challanging in some missons. I am strongly thinking about getting the add-ons.
It also reminded me a lot of Ground Control 2, if anyone remebers that. I don’t think it was very well known, though it was a great and very fast paced RTS game.

I heard about Company of heroes 2 that, at times, it can be very badly balanced. Anyone tried it yet?

Only when I get tired of playing Nidalee.

Really? I cranked the FOV and I never noticed that. Granted, I barely ever use the CAR SMG though…

FUCK me. Just beat NOLF 1. Doing the GOTY mission atm but the story mode is done, and holy fuck I was not expecting that finale at all, even when I thought I had it spoiled for me. (turns out i didn’t)

How are some game devs constantly trying to put themselves on the level of other well written media and yet the plot and writing of an old monolith game can still put them in the dirt 14 years later?

Why did I edit out Nidalee from my initial quote.
You really are setting out to ruin the lives of many top laners. :frowning: Funnily enough I used to like Riven (and top lane) back in season 2, and now I’d rather never see her or step foot in that lane again.

Quinn is where it’s at yo.

I usually mid solo on Cho’Gath, but that was before I moved on to DOTA 2

A fair bit of Fallout 3.

I played through Operation: Anchorage in order to get the loot, and I have to say… Whoever thought Fallout 3 needed to be a modern military shooter should be shot.

Edit: Also, I just learned that Titanfall runs on the Source engine. I had no idea.

Source is almost unrecognizable in Titanfall, tbh. They’ve done some WORK on it.

Not enough tho. That game needed at least one more year of development. Respawn did not have enough time to optimize the engine properly so it doesn’t even run at a locked 60 fps on Xbone at such a weird resolution.

Edit: fixed for clarification

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
