No, you’re not the same guy. You’re a member of another team.
Completed the episode Survival in Arma 3. I like where they’re going with this.
Honestly, it’s the first good campaign since it’s majesty Operation Flashpoint in the series.
Boy, and I’m supposed to be the resident ArmA fanboy…
Just beat RE4 for the first time. I think this one may be the most ridiculous of the series, even though I haven’t played all of them yet. It’s really good tho, however the controls are really janky. I’d love a proper next-gen remake with modern controls.
I want to buy Code Veronica X but it costs 20€ on PSN. Is it worth the price?
^i hated the red-dot crosshairs, it was horrible for accuracy. And I didn’t even realize you could sprint till I accidentally found out. But yeah, it’s a great game otherwise haha
I’m still chugging away on ME2.
Just started playing the Bioshock Infinite DLC: Burial at Sea Episode 1. It’s really cool to see Rapture again.

Tried out the new Kerbal Multiplayer mod. Still a little buggy but I guess that’s to be expected. Still pretty fun.
Played some Tiberian Sun, stuck on the GDI mission where you have to defend the crash site in the Ion storm, plus I’m playing on Hard
Installing Batman: Arkham Asylum GOTY on Steam. Noticed a bit in the EULA that basically says modding the game at all is expressly prohibited. I really wish more companies would let people mod their games…
You actually read the EULA?
Holy hell, the last time I read an EULA, I ended about one tenth into it.
Maybe Kenny’s a lawyer.
Nah, I just like to know when companies dick me over. EA’s Origin service reserves the right to scan your computer without your knowledge for any program that could possibly link to piracy and lock you out of your games if it finds any. You also are prohibited from joining in any kind of class action suit against them based on experience with the plaform.
Granted, that latter clause is in Valve’s Steam contract too…
Does uTorrent count as connected to piracy?
Don’t think so…
I’ve uTorrent installed, Origin doesn’t pick it up. Granted, I only used it to download Company of Heroes patches (but I think those downloaded themselves through their own updater, but only have the association to uT), and I’m planning on using it to download likewise free Il-2 mods… Which I don’t think are even accessible any other way…
Oh, and I’ve never ran Origin and uT simultaneously.
Origin doesn’t do shit to your computer. EULAs are full of legal shit that is mostly to cover companies’ asses but most of the time they’re not enforced.
I’ve heard that uTorrent (at least newer versions) is a good way to get yourself caught pirating things.
Today I tried an interesting little gem called “Zineth”. It’s really quite awesome, especially for being free.
Well yeah, torrents were invented specifically because they can’t be traced.
