FFS, it’s just one acronym.
So I’m playing the awesome game of “Try to stay calm while using Windows 8”. God, I fail so miserably. Or maybe Win8 fails at everything 7’s been good at. Pure fucking evil.
Okay, good, I’m not the only one who’s found it to be complete rubbish.
My laptop can keep blaring at me about how I’m a victim of software counterfeiting, but I’d rather have that than Windows 8. :hmph:
So it actually did, huh? I remember that I noticed it and told my older brother about it and he said that I was just imagining things since it’s a kid game and they wouldn’t add such complexity.
That. But well, it came pre-installed with my new notebook, and the new Windows is going to be pure Metro, so I guess there’s no avoiding that crap.
Besides, I still have Win7 on my desktop, so I have someplace to enjoy proper good Windows.
Rock Raiders was a good game, but it’s painfully obvious that the developer had to ship it before it was complete, with a lot of unimplemented or unpolished features.
damn I thought they were going to make Age of Empires 2 HD look at least a little better, what with the “HD” and all. looks painfully dated tbh
I still play the original and I think it looks fine, so anything better than that is fine by me. The “HD” was only part of the reason I bought it anyway. Not having to kill explorer.exe each time I play it and MP that works through steam instead of having to do some ridiculous VPN loopholes and crap is awesome.
Got the key to the first lab and am almost there. A blowout happened when I was entering the bandit HQ and there were dogs swarming everywhere so there weren’t too many bandits still alive. My aim keeps swaying back and forth and the screen keeps getting blue tinted for some reason. I don’t know what it is. I thought it might be because a blowout was about to happen but it kept happening afterwards.
When I was approaching the lab I saw two pseudogiants enter and start massacring the bandits in there. I managed to kill one of them but the other killed me.
Finished Bioshock: Infinite
Dat ending
Forgot to mention that I finished LA Noire a while ago.
Great game. Some things could have been improved on, but it was solid nonetheless.
Homeworld. Man, having a persistent fleet across the entire game means if you barely survive one mission you may be in deep shit for the next.
Luckily, after doing exactly that, I’ve been able to scrounge together a force that, while not very formidable, can be used as a diversion in the current mission I’m on so I can let what little firepower I have do the job without getting completely eradicated.
Just have to properly micromanage them.
Kerbal Space Program
Taking a break from typical rocketry and have begun crafting giant warships to be launched via hyperedit.
thats lame just laboriously construct your dumb warship piece by piece in orbit.
Stuck on 3 levels on Fire Emblem: Awakening. The third to last level of the game, and 2 recruitment quests… Plus I’m outta cash ingame
But then you have to add lots of mass for docking ports, and you can’t even use struts.
theres a couple of differnt mods that add strut type things you can deploy in space
Tried to beat all the monsters in Peace Walker. Only got to the third one.
God, I want more news on V.
Played the first 20 or so minutes of Opposing Force for the first time ever. It’s pretty discomforting not knowing when and where vortigaunts or headcrabs will come out. It’s fun so far though
Honestly, I always found the beginning of OP4 to be very dull. There’s a lot of very unatmospheric exploration and puzzles with only sparse, poorly spaced combat.
