Hawken. Starting to get to grips with it now, had a few good games
Heroes of might and magic 2. FINALLY got CD music working on windows 7 - there are third party programs to fix the music but they make the game stutter (sad, a 90s game, stuttering), so I decided to try a simple fix and change my virtual drive letter to D, since that’s what most old computers had - and voila! CD music works 
I’ve only ever heard the midi music so it sounds pretty nice.
Lucky you; I haven’t been able to connect to any servers.
Actually so far BL1 is better than 2 imo. Borderlands 1 was very fun and open with good customization. 2 on the other hand forces you to unlock you custom colors which is downright dumb, I have no idea why they changed a perfect system for “this” whatever “this” is.
I can’t judge it much because I haven’t gotten far enough in the game, but so far not so good.
Same for me. Though I only tried for about 30 minutes the first time I started the game up.
So in Europa Universalis 3 I’ve set the goal for myself to try and colonize Mexico and give it a name that sounds similar but is Norwegian in origin. Any ideas, maybe from people on this forum from Norway or thereabouts? So I’m either going to have some Norwegian paradise south of the border or Norwegian drug cartels running things. I’m loving being able to make alternate histories like this. Just yesterday I was reading a thread somewhere where someone was playing another grand strategy game that takes place during WWII. He was playing as Canada and was going to nuke Germany before the war even began :3 .
I was trying to map in Source SDK today. Got a good chunk of a level going for my mod, but the damn env_global and logic_auto entities don’t seem to work right! I used to be able to flag on the “melt weapons” effect from the Citadel maps in HL2 with these flags (The flag is "Super Gravity Gun is Enabled), but they don’t seem to work in the HL2 2009 build. They worked in my old 2007 Episode Two maps… what gives?
As for playing, I tried to play some Grand Theft Auto 4 again. My 360 overheated again.
Now I’m playing Red Dead Redemption. Lots of people love it. I have a more complicated relationship with this game. The atmosphere is peerless, the writing is quite good, and the gunplay is fun and flexible (letting me shoot guns out of hands instead of always going for killshots). However, the auto- mark for the Dead Eye means precisely marking where on the body you want to shoot only once (such as going for hand shots) is rendered impossible because the game automatically targets a bunch of parts, which usually results in a kill. (Not what I want when I’m trying to bring in a bounty head alive)
There’s also too much horse riding! I have to ride for a good five minutes or so just to get to main quest items. At first I liked having that be the case, because you get to take your time and look at all the gorgeous scenery, but after a while it gets rather tiresome. I’ll have to try the fast travel options more often and see if I have the patience to see the story through to the end. It starts to really drag around the Mexico levels.
end of last week was terrible for hawken servers, drops before, during, account syncing…nightmare. I ahven’t looked on teh forums to see what they did, but when I matchmake in europe, I’m almost certain to get into a server now…even if it does crash after 10-15 minutes

Stranger’s Wrath was the first (and really only) of the games I played and I loved it. It’s different from the other games though.
