It wouldn’t recognize the changes I made to the config files, and now it is still 640x480

I don’t remember exactly which one is, there’s multiple ones. I would suggest Googling it. I’m looking right now and in Doom 3 > Base there’s a file called DoomConfig. In there there’s

seta r_customHeight “1200”
seta r_customWidth “1920”

And that’s what I have it set to now. Then below that there’s seta r_aspectRatio “2” and that’s what I have it set to. 0 is [noparse]4:3[/noparse], 1 is 16:9, and 2 is 16:10. Make sure you include the quotes as they’re there in my file. Not sure if they actually do make a difference though. I don’t see anything Doom 3 related in my Documents folder.

I thought you needed to also do

seta r_mode -1

to allow for custom resolutions that aren’t selectable from the menu?

Not sure though, maybe that’s for Quake 3. Haven’t played an ID tech game in a while.

I did see that when I opened the file up but I didn’t realize that was something I changed. But yeah that makes sense now.

I played Dwarf Fortress today. A couple of goblin diplomats showed up, trying to negotiate a redistribution of wealth, but I was able to show them some good old fashioned dwarven diplomacy.

There were no survivors.

Got an impact hammer mod, tried out the Impact Hammer arena mutator and holy fuck do ragdolls and enhanced gore add a whole new dimension of fun to this mode.

EDIT: For some freaking reason on this planet, the game config switched the resolution to be 1080x1920. I don’t know why in the frackking world it did this

Ace Attorney Investigations

I didn’t think I’d like this game given how decidedly not Ace Attorney it is, but it actually doesn’t hit far from the mark. And I really like Edgeworth. This can work.
