Sadly, this statement/conclusion, if true, is very depressing:
“Unfortunately, Half-life 3 only had one group suggesting it’s either inactive or in developmental infancy.”
Let’s hope it’s not the case.

…Or maybe they’re almost finished and that’s just the team that’s deciding if it should be called Episode 3 or Half-Life 3.
I somehow doubt that oh well… We’ll find out.
Finished Postal. The ending, [COLOR=‘Black’]which involves the player’s failed attempt at shooting up an elementary school, only to succumb to his insanity and be committed to an asylum, was one of the most disturbing things I’ve seen, especially after considering what happened in December.
played some torchlight, which is free for 2 days on GOG
Beat XCOM: Enemy Unknown again, this time on Classic difficulty. I’m tempted to make an Impossible playthrough on Ironman with every Second Wave mutator enabled, just to see how long I can play before I ingloriously lose the planet.
War Thunder. Flying my Spitfire Mk.XVI, I think I’ll skip Mk.Vc and go for the Typhoon. Or maybe another nation…
Started Metal Gear (the MSX game) just the other day. It’s pretty cool that it’s very similar to the later games. I started laughing when Grey Fox told me that Metal Gear was a nuclear equipped walking battle tank after I rescued him because that’s the same phrasing they use in the later games. I kind of wish I would play with a keyboard though, as it was designed to be played with one, but there’s no way to get a PC version of the retranslation in Subsistence. It’s kind of hard to play too since you can’t call people on your codec to remind you what you’re supposed to be doing and the game only seems to save/have checkpoints in the elevator shafts.
The game also seemed to have glitched out at one point and given me the max amount of every item and weapon I had in my inventory, which was pretty cool as I could actually heal because of it.
Dungeons & Dragons: Neverwinter. It’s pretty generic in most respects, but the combat is excellent. I love the teleport dodge the wizard class gets.
I got guild wars 2 and it’s pretty fun. You can dodge attacks in real time, which makes me happy because I usually hate how you can’t in most MMOs.
I also usually hate MMO’s too, so I’m happy I like this one. Got it with a friend.
Beat both Gunpoint and Commander Keen episode 1.
FUCK THE CLICKERS. They’re just as bad as those oneshotting chainsaw fuckers from RE4. Took me 30+ minutes to kill one because of all of the dying I did the first time I was required to kill one. Seriously. I’m sick of having those assholes tear out my neck because I looked at one funny.
Pro-tip: abuse the fuck out of bricks and bottles, make shivs as soon as you can and try to upgrade your shiv mastery.
I only just managed to upgrade Shiv Mastery, and that was AFTER the Bill chapter. Where EVERY CLICKER IN THE GAME just happens to be. Now I’m mostly fighting scavengers and wishing I’d invested in reduction of aim sway instead…
What difficulty you playing? I played hard and wasn’t able to max out any skill.
I haven’t made any upgrades to Joel except for one point to Shiv mastery. And I’m playing on Normal. (Considering the clicker bullshit, I’m glad I’m not playing on Hard or I’d be chucking the disc out the window.)
Also, I’m in Pittsburgh. Dunno how far through the game that is.
A good strategy is to lure a few clickers to some place with a brick or bottle and when they all gather next to each other, throw a cocktail molotov and let the fire spread.
…a brick?
The game is lousy with bricks and bottles to throw around and distract enemies.
Finally tried the Last of Us at a friends house, and what little I played I loved it. I think I might need to get my PS3 back from the person that “borrowed” it.
