What Game Did You Play Today?

Started up dark souls on the pc. I’ve already gotten farther than my PS3 save, but I guess that’s not sayin much.

Oh, I can’t wait until you try The Sorrow. You’re gonna regret killing all those guards…

whats cool is if you had taken one more week to kill the end he literally dies of old age.

wait i looked it up and i guess its 1 week? whatever

Just completed FEAR: Extraction Point. It was a good expansion for FEAR, but pretty short.

Played through a few more missions in T2X. Also played around with the global illumination options in Stalker SoC but notice almost no difference at all. I even took before and after shots and saw no differences at all. My framerate drops into the 20s when I turn my flashlight on (the smaller the room the lower it drops) but I don’t notice any visual difference, like light bouncing around like it should for some reason.

Not really. This is my second playthrough, and I’ve killed far less guards than playthrough one. I guess it’s just a habit that I don’t feel safe if nearby guards are only asleep.

I tried that the first time (turn off the game for eight days), but it doesn’t work on 3DS. Also, I’m pretty sure that wouldn’t give the Mosin Nagant, which I’m glad I’ve now got. It actually motivates me to non-lethal some guards, which is probably for the better.

Thanks for telling us about it, its much better to emulate ps2 then use the fan made pc version  I made a video while playing it with my friend

Just finished the Blackmail mission in Thief 2. That was a frustrating level due to me not being able to find the proper gears.

When I get to The Sorrow he’s pathetically easy to finish because only the boss characters show up in the river.

On the PS3 version I’ve gotten the Peace Walker achievement, which I’m rather embarrassingly proud of doing.

Finished playing Fear: Perseus Mandate. A little longer than Extraction Point, but I thought it was a good DLC regardless.

The Sierra expansions to F.E.A.R. were surprisingly good. F.E.A.R. 2 is where the quality starts to dip, so be warned…

Thank you

Noted.

Anyway, I just started playing FEAR 2: Project Origin and I think it’s good so far, but for reason it seems to be easier than FEAR 1 and its expansions. Maybe it’s because I just started playing the game, but I don’t know for sure.

The AI uses cover too much compared to F.E.A.R. 1, which makes F.E.A.R. 2’s soldiers far more predictable to fight than the mobile, dangerous Replica soldiers. Plus, you have the cover flip option.

I really hate that they added cover flips and then took out lean/peek. It’s like a step forward and two steps back. Plus, Stokes’ tactical midriff annoys me.

Terraria. I finally beat the wall of freaking flesh!

As a bonus, it dropped a laser rifle, and I’ve also bought myself a shotgun.

I’ve never been able to beat the Wall of Flesh alone.

I played some more FEAR 2. I finished a part of the game where you can use this giant mech. That part was really fun.

^ The mech section of Fear 2 was awesome. It’s so stompy, and the miniguns are gorgeous.

In order to beat it, I paved over a very large section of the underworld, manufactured four full stacks of meteorite ammo for my minishark, and made a bunch of iron skin potions. Eventually, I was able to beat it by just backpedalling and hosing it down.

Yes, the mech part of F.E.A.R. 2 was one of the highlights. The DLC expansion Reborn starts with a mech section, if you want more stompy robot action.

F.E.A.R. 3 also has several mech sections, but we don’t talk about F.E.A.R. 3.
