I wish I had your day length.
Funnily enough, that length day still wouldn’t cover my first Persona 4 playthrough…

More Clear Sky today. All in all it’s pretty good but even though they expanded areas from SoC, I’m doing the main quest and it’s painfully linear near the end. The increased population of the world just doesn’t give the same feeling that I got with SoC, and I don’t find my self nearly as immersed. There were some places, like the farmstead or Red Forest, that were excellent and heavily reminiscent of SoC’s superlative atmosphere - but for the most part the Zone feels more like a Warzone this time around then a desolate, forsaken place.
I mean, I’m glad I have fairly powerful weapons because the shooting mechanics are pretty satisfying with a competent weapon, but aside from that Limansk has just been one really long shooting gallery.
While SoC had this near the end, it definitely did not last nearly as long
Rage.
It’s pretty fun, the shooting anyway. Don’t really like the vehicle sections and how everything is a fetch quest chain. You have to get something from someone but they want you to get something from someone else and that kind of stuff.
I got my brand new laptop today, played some Half-Life 2 on it about 30 minutes ago.
This thing is awesome, I cannot wait to see how it runs Sonic Generations.
lol
Oh come on, Jethro! Sonic Generations is basically the first worthwhile Sonic game that wasn’t exclusive to the GBA or the DS in basically a decade (barring the Crisis City level).
lol
Beat Clear Sky’s MQ, gonna load an earlier save to do some side stuff.
Whoever thought it was a good idea to have monolith troops teleport in right next to you on a rooftop with no cover and no way off can eat a bag of hairy dicks
Either way, it doesn’t matter because I’m doing another playthrough of Persona 4 instead of finishing SG.
Finally beat freaking Seth in SF4. Only took me one try this time, though Bison gave me a lot of grief this time for some reason.
Was getting atmosfear 3 for CoP because I finished Clear Sky, and holy shit:

Should I get this for a vanilla run?
You should check out the Misery mod for COP, it’s friggin’ brutal. But if it’s your first time I’d just reccomend playing it Vanilla, I heard the CoP Complete mod changes some gameplay stuff that makes it easier.
Yeah I’ve avoided complete in favor of bugfix and graphics mods because it does that for SoC and CoP too. I kinda don’t like Misery’s visual style though, every single thing I’ve seen of misery looks like it has a brown filter over it (have no idea how it plays though)
Played some more Metro 2033.
This game has the shittiest ragdolls ever. I can barely even tell if they’re dead or not.
I got my PSP back from Sony today. Started Persona 2: Innocent Sin (2011 Remake) and Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars. Both of them had some pretty unexpected opening sequences. P2 is delightfully weird, and Chinatown Wars surprised me with it’s sudden killing of a character that’s been in a ton of promo art.
More STALKER - Call of Pripyat. I like it way more then Clear Sky so far. Can’t say how well it will hold up to SoC yet though
Every JB game I’ve played has been like that. Lots of rail shooter sequences and linear stealth.
Some Duke3D, Quake, and Call of Pripyat.
I played the online demo and while you are right, it’s still a fun game.
Anyway, realised that I hadn’t bothered to look at half the settings in Borderlands 2 and that I was being pretty fussy about lowering the graphics. So I changed more stuff, realised how good it was and played it for pretty much the whole day.
Oblivion. Oblivion is all I need. Nobody else loves me, but Oblivion is my friend. Aren’t you, Oblivion? Playing time: 45.9 hrs in the last two weeks Glug Pee Hic
