What Game Did You Play Today?

Just played some Borderlands.

Jet Set Radio.

…I don’t think I need to clarify why. It’s fuckin’ Jet Set Radio.

Played some Super Mario Bros. 3 on my 3DS and Borderlands on my gaming computer.

PAYDAY 2. Grinding for mods is fucking tedious. LET ME TRICK OUT MY GUNS ALREADY, OVERKILL.

Mmmm, Borderlands

AC:BF for awhile, since I wasn’t busy haha it’s my first AC game…so far, I’m loving it immensely.

I have finished playing Super Mario Bros. 3 on my 3DS. It was a challenging, but really fun game. If you haven’t played this game, I recommend that you guys get it through the virtual console right now.

Finally played Mass Effect 3, quite the spectacle, like it was directed by Michael Bay tbh

Hotline Miami. It’s so hard, but fun.

Lost World, more Kirby, Wind Waker HD (still fuckin hate the metal gear zelda section) and TF2.

I tend to skip around a lot.

On the bright side, it’s the only section quite like it. The rest is optional sneaking, which kinda works sometimes.

Still, LoZ was my childhood. I’ve never played one I hated more than love. I’m psyched for their new one that’ll be coming out, it’s looking like it’ll be a blast.

Oh definitely, same here. I just don’t like doing it. Maybe it’s cause when I imagine stealth in Zelda, I think of the Phantom hourglass “they’re fucking slow and you can run past them and it’s easy as shit” mindset when in this you get thrown down into the fungeon every time you screw up.

Oh, and today I got gifted Goat Simulator, so I guess I’ll add that to the list of things I’m playing today.

Oh, and also Generations, I suppose. (Unleashed project is 10/10 best game mod of 2013)

Agreed. But you can use that dungeon to get closer to your goal xD if youre in the right place.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Lost Alpha, - just went through Agroprom and the underground.
Pretty similar to how it was in Shadow of Chernobyl, seemed a bit easier though.
Having the surface and underground merged into the same level is nice.

Found 7 Slime and 3 Slug artifacts o_o

EDIT: and had an encounter with a Bloodsucker on the way out ._.

Crysis 1, heavily modded.

Even today, it looks incredible.

Even so, the game is still really shit at optimization. I get lag spikes in-game even now, despite running it on a high end current gaming rig. Crysis 2 is better optimized but water shaders in certain sewers will randomly throw the framerate into the teens.

Terraria

Bad Company 2, in which I unlocked the T88 LMG but realised how much better the MG3 SA is.

FEAR.

The SlowMo in this game is stupidly useful. I use it almost constantly.

I was pretty impressed with the AI in this game, particularly how, when you hide around a corner, they don’t just come around it single file to be shotgunned into mist. But then I realized that this isn’t because of good AI, it’s because when you backtrack around a corner the AI actually doesn’t know where you are.

Borderlands.
