What Game Did You Play Today?

Zone of the Enders HD is fucking amazing. A couple hours into the game already. Control for the mechs is fantastic. It’s extremely responsive- closer to a precision fighting game than a shooter or a hack and slash. I love it.

A shame the enemies are pretty repetitive.

I’m pretty sure that the ‘[COLOR=‘Black’]save curly’ alternate route was intended to be something of a secret, not really a choice. I mean, it’s pretty much only possible if you know about it; the jump you have to make in order to ‘[COLOR=‘Black’]skip talking to professor booster’ is so difficult that there’s a mark on the terrain to show where you have to start, and if you don’t make it you have to reload to try again because there’s no way back up without the booster.

Played a bit of AMY on the PS3. Awful, awful game.

Framerate drops, clunky controls, awkward combat, bad camera, hilariously bad voice acting, predictable jump scares, cryptic game progression, the list goes on.

It bums me out, because the concept and some of the gameplay mechanics are genuinely interesting but the overall execution is just terrible.

At least it was just 2 bucks on PSN…

Tried The Witcher after buying it on sale ages ago. Ten or fifteen minutes in, after a bunch of cheesy, cliche cutscenes (amnesia? really?) and wonky top-down gameplay, I shelved it. I also tried out Mirror’s Edge (again, bought it on sale ages ago). It’s cool, but I crashed out after about twenty minutes, and never really got around to starting it up again.

Some BF3 without the turd filter.

It definitely makes the game look better.

I played some Ragnarok Odyssey today. I’m really enjoying it so far. I am also a decent way into AC3, and it’s mostly fun so far. That hunting, though. And sequence 3-2. I hated both of those missions. Naval combat is much better than I expected it to be.

Yes. The end is damn brutal. Have you beaten it yet? (tbqh I skipped a lot of posts between this and wherever mine ends up >_>)

3 keys…wow!

Do you like the halloween event?

Please send me a PM with a key, thanks!

Halo 4, my first midnight release playthrough.

It is without a doubt the best Halo game ever. I recommend it to everyone.

Now if you’ll excuse me, I have some sleep to catch up on.

Is it worth buying an Xbox ?

Sure, I’ll take one if you don’t want it.

Added.

That was fast, but thanks.

Kamikal, I sent you a pm.
I sent you also an invitation as friend on steam.

can you send me as a gift dota 2?

Just for this game? No.

It’s weird!
I went to Dota 2 page on Steam store and I’ve found that I already own Dota 2.

Hey Kamikal, did you send it to me?

Because I don’t know if you did it or my request of beta access has been accepted(I did it long time ago).

I’m downloading it right now, hopefully I’ll try it soon.

Edit: Grrrr…I downloaded a spectator client only, hence I can’t play.
Steam store fooled me!
Kamikal let me know if you send it as a gift…and thanks!

No one game is worth buying a platform for.

I think they gave me 4 keys for DotA 2 so if you guys wanna get up in on that, you can add me and shit. Also I need to convert my LoL friends to DotA…

OT: I played AC3 and a bit of Diretide. It’s amazing how the different outfits in AC3 add a new personality to Conner whereas in AssBro or AssRev it didn’t really change much I feel.

With the sole exception of “The World Ends With You.”

Played some more Natural Selection 2 today. I honestly did great; my framerate is poor enough that I usually suck at playing infantry unless I get lucky, but I’m having a ton of fun playing Commander.

I actually used voice chat for once today. It worked surprisingly well.

Yeah. Once you use Voice Chat enough it goes from “Should I” to “VO or GTFO”
