Valve's E3 Suprise?

Im a PC guy and a PS3 guy surrounded by XBOX fanboy buddies. I am quite excited about the surprise.

This is what I do, this is what I do, I sit on you?? =D

My jaw dropped.

…you monster.

In the youtube trailer, at 0:23, you can see the companion cube in the upper right corner.

Gabe was right. This really looks like the best game valve ever produced. For me, this trailer is the true E3 surprise. Not this PS3 bullshit.

As long as we get a level editor with it I’ll be happy.

Now I really can’t wait to see what Ep3 looks like

Yeah me either. We only have -980 days to go.

Edit: Oh you! :ninja:

holy dicks, Batman! :fffuuu:

Dynamic shadows scare me :’(

Unless they optimized it a lot since the current flashlight-shadows.

Dynamic shadows have only been common in games since 2004. If you don’t have a computer that can handle I think it’s time to invest some money or get a console.

It was a joke, you dumbfuck, everyone blames the current economy when something does not go as they expected.

Of course Valve has enough money to make any game they want, it’s just that if they delay a game, it’s because they’re not ready to launch so soon and there’s not a damn thing we can do about that but wait patiently.

My computer can handle them just fine as they are right now, but that’s only for the flashlight, not huge rooms/entire zones in one go.

Well it’s time to buy a new PC.

you’re probably going to need an extra penis to play this game, by the looks of it :jizz:

More stuff

Part 1
Part 2
Part 3

Unlike you, I don’t live to game. I merely see gaming as something extra I can do with the tool I use for work 80% of the time. If I can’t run Portal 2 or any Source game that uses the new version of the engine, then so be it. I’ll find something else to do for that 20%.

OK, that’s your problem. I’m fine with that.

Damn, the ingame visuals are almost indiscernible from the concept art now D:
I bet the next HL will see Victor Antonov and the other artists’ visions fully realized

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
