Otherwise, the cake hole comment stands. Those little in between games, like portal and left for dead are game play experiments that will work its way into the flagship game. Imagine if half life 2 had a director like left for dead. Each battle or encounter would be different. Imagine if the strider battles got harder the more you played them. Those in between games also finance r&d for valve. Steam for mac opens up a sizable new market for sales. Sony missing out out of the L4D pie may have even played a role in getting them to court valve and bring valve and steam to the ps3. Oh, and the game is so expensive because Gabe eats diamond sprinkled ice cream and he pays me to fix your spelling on these forums.

In all honesty, the only reason no one here liked the surprise was because we are all PC gamers and therefore don’t care about the PS3. Looking back, it was probably pretty good for PS3 owners. There, thats my empathetic post of the day.

Really though. Every comment from a PS3 user I’ve seen on Portal2, were all like, “HOLY FUCK THIS GAME IS AMAZING.” That’s actually exactly what this one PS3 site said. :S

Steam and Source is on the PS3 now. Not a third party port like the orange box That means the next half life be it episode 3 or HL3 will be on the PS3 as well. Portal on the PS3 looks amazing in the teaser and game play vids. Maybe they will release left 4 dead on the Sony too?
