Valve: "We are not done with Gordon Freeman's adventures"

I hope that if.

The name of that magazine is gameinformer, here is the article: https://www.gameinformer.com/b/news/archive/2010/12/31/what-s-ahead-game-informer-s-2011-predictions.aspx

If such a thing were to happen I would like it was a kind of The orange box 2 or The blue box, and to include HL2: EP3, HL3 and finally Portal 2.

P.S: excuse me for my bad English.

That would make absolutely no business sense whatsoever.

Well HL3 is basically confirmed for this year at least some trailer/confirmation. Gameinformer said this, and I think their predictions are reasonable

proof or it didnt happen

One of my mates at uni(/college) does a marketing course, and for one project about slow-burn advertising (I think that’s what he called it) he did an analysis of Valve’s strategy of teasing/dropping hints for ages to encourage fans to discuss it and get really buzzed (like we’re doing now!), and this teasing about Gordon seems to fit perfectly with their strategy.

They’re waiting for me to get a job so I won’t pirate it.

I would just like to point out to everyone here that Valve publicly announced that they were having a bit of writers block on where to take freeman next. Thus is the reason Episode 3 has taken so long thus far.

I think that they might have realised that the Borealis wouldn’t have allowed for as much gameplay as the first 2 episodes, so I think they’ll release HL3 with it starting with the Borealis, something to do with the portal, and then after the ‘event’ the story will focus on what the G-Man said to Alyx and what she’ll do as a result.

The borealis was fully playable in the beta, so I guess they tried to recycle it but it didn’t work out.

I googled it after I posted, ninja master.

I hate you so much.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
