DADT was technically a compromise. It’s a compromise that has been adulterated, of course, from the original intent. Until just recently, you could be kicked out if another person said you were gay. I thought that the second part was “Don’t Tell”. Ah well.
And, no, he didn’t have “sexual relations” with that woman. It wasn’t a lie due to his understanding of “sexual relations”.
But, back to the health care bill:
Dems: “This bill won’t do X according to this section of the bill.”
Repubs:“This bill will do X.”
Dems: “This bill will do X according to the nonpartisan CBO.”
Repubs: “This bill won’t do X.”
They seem to be just denying everything the Dems say, regardless of evidence provided.
I can’t wait for the vote to see if the compromise after compromise after motherfucking compromise will garner a single Republican vote.

No, they attacked us because over the past 50 years, we have supported Israel militarily, politically and economically. This is one of the things that enrages the Muslim world, we also have a bad rap for funding bad regimes, not to mention the cut-off of money to the Mujahideen after the soviets fled Afghanistan.
Because of our idiotic foreign policy, a radical paramilitary organization convinced people that the only way to rid their homeland of evil was to kill thousands of innocent people.
