^but you know jokerine, Black Mesa features also some new lines of dialogue which aren’t included in the HL Script, on which your translations are based. I’d love to participate, but i think we have to wait until the Devs give us their “script”

What? Of course it does. But you can read through the original script to get the idea of what is going on and get familiar with some terms, like the titles of the chapters and the names of the weapons. And, of course, to have a general idea of the flow of the game and the dialogue style (with the scientists, their dialogue tends to have loads of sciency mumbo jumbo that needs to be translated carefully).

Gosh, every time I have to explain this same point… :meh:

I’d like to translate it to Russian, but i think there’s already a bunch of people for that purpose somewhere. They’ll most likely fuck up everything tho, with their voiceover and misunderstanding.

I’m all in for the Italian translation - if i manage to get the time after giving the last shine on the Dota 2 one - but i really hope that Black Mesa ends up using the Steam Translation Servers (https://translation.steampowered.com/) if it gets on Steam. Translation projects without proper organization tend to turn out not-so-well most of the time.
