YOU MUST CONSTRUCT ADDITIONAL HARD DRIVES.
I enjoyed that
Well, I must say, It’s just as epic as I hoped it would be. Fun, as well.
My only complaints are that I wish there were more pre-rendered cutscenes like the intro, and the whole revolution thing is a little bit cheesey.
amazing graphics, great voice acting sound and music, varied gameplay, and the worst fucking plot i have seen in a long time O_o funny combo, dont know what to think of it after winning it, but i sure had fun and lowed the 3d ship bar and so on. But really, you would think with all that cash that went in to making it, they would hire at least one writer that isnt partially retarded and read a good book in his life ?
YOU REQUIRE MORE PHYSICAL MEMORY.
On topic, StarCraft 2 was great, but it could have been much better.
The story is the main issue I have. The end seems like a big pile of bait to make us buy the expansions. I mean, that whole thing with the Hybrids? What the hell was up with that? Was it just an excuse to throw in some Protoss missions?
But the voice acting was rock solid and the gameplay largely forces us to break the RTS habit of ‘build a billion tanks and steamroll from A to B’, so I was willing to ignore the plot holes.
GIEF LAN NOAZ
just bought it, unfortunately my power is going to be out until Friday :Fuuuuuuuu:
Well, I must admit before my trial ran out it was getting better. I did genuinely like the singleplayer missions, and the cinematic between Zeratul and Kerrigan was pretty cool. I still think I’d suck miserably online, but I might just play against the Easy CPU like a pussy until I learn the legal Infinite Money cheat everyone seems to know.
Anyway, I’m not buying it until I beat at least half of the games I’ve been accumulating.
The game is certainly shaping up. The interaction between the races has improved each time I’ve played and there are at least semblances of counters to each strategic option. I never played SC1, but I’m totally wrapped up in SC2 single-player. It reminds me of Freelancer in the way you have a job board, an armory, a bar, and loads of AI to converse with between missions.
The Hybrids made sense to me. I mean, the Zerg used a psychically enhanced Terran to create a Terran-Zerg hybrid, so it only makes sense that the Zerg would also use the naturally psychic Protoss to create Protoss-Zerg hybrids.
And then I assume they’ll elaborate on it all in the expansions… Or at least, I hope so.
Except those weren’t Terran-Zerg hybrids much more than mushrooms growing out of a dead log is a plant-fungus hybrid. At least, as far as I know.
You didn’t finish Brood War, did you…
It’s quite obvious that he didn’t.
My friend had so many copies of the Brood Wars disc, but only one or two original Starcraft CDs. This became a problem when trying to install it on a new machine.
SO MANY BROOD WAR DISCS!!! TRILLIONS OF THEM!!! OH GOD IT’S A BROOD WAR TSUNAMI!!
I’m pretty sure Kerrigan counts as a Terran-Zerg hybrid…
This is what happens when people don’t play Brood War’s secret mission
There are the Xel Naga - an ancient race of creators of life.
They created the Protoss, but then abandoned them.
Then they created the Zerg, who devoured the Xel Naga (most of them)
Zerg managed to create a Zerg/Terran hybrid. Unfortunately, by that time, the Fallen one, probably a renegade Xel Naga, was already working on a magnificent Protoss/Zerg hybrids. These experiments were successful and the hybrids already spread to thousands of worlds.
Now, the Fallen One is coming to consume all life with his hybrids.
To battle a hybrid like that, you need to be a hybrid yourself. That’s why all hope lies with Kerrigan. We shall see what the future holds for her (please don’t spoil the finale of Wings of Liberty!)…
What an asshole!
Also, if what you say about hybrids must be fought with hybrids, then it’s funny how they have to retcon Kerrigan not being a very good unit. :V
When i Saw the Trailer for Starcraft II, I Mistook it for the Mass Effect Movie Trailer.
It had awesome Graphic
