So can you just play matches against the computer, or is it either campaign or MP?
Also, when is somebody going to make one of those Simpsons maps? Those were nutty.

Ya, you can play matches against the computer.
I’m sure he’s very thankful.
You know after all these years I have never, for one minute, played World of Warcraft? I feel pretty proud of myself.
I’ll probably get this pretty soon. The only thing I’m worried about is how corny most of the dialogue seems to be when compared to its predecessor’s, which was quite straightforward and gritty, at least for Terran. I liked that way more than the “hollywood-ized” stuff the trailers seem to show.
I wanted to get Starcraft 2, but than I realized I’d have to pay for three full priced games to play the whole campaign.
What have you people not been reading? It’s been stated at least four times that the expansions aren’t full-priced.
Sorry, that’s buying one over-priced product, plus two expansion-pack priced products to get one game.
100 bucks in all minus tax.
What I want to know is who the hell they picked to draw the goliath portrait. They went from uber looking gas mask to uber weird bald guy /w lame ass 4 year old holographic sunglasses.

How is it over-priced? It costs the same as any new game. Wait a while and it’ll be less.
And if I remember correctly, Blizzard stated that the expansions will be quite cheap.
And it’s not “one game.” The expansions actually add shit to the game, comparable to what The Frozen Throne did with WC3, which was fucking awesome.
PC games have never been $60. That’s just a ridiculous thing consoles came up with.
You’re getting the same amount of missions you would if they were all in one game, they’re just one race each.
Although I think there’s certain missions in each campaign where you can play with another race.
Starcraft 2 has almost the same amount of missions as original Starcraft with all 3 campaigns, so whats your problem? Besides there are some protoss missions too.
Hey, I liked Heavy Rain :fffuuu: .
So, recorded a demo with all settings maxed in heavy-combat TF2 (coldfront, battle for the last CP). Without AA I had about 51FPS, with AAx8 37FPS.
So ± 29% drop in fps for that.
Well, unfortunately I’m not liking the trial. Maybe I just suck at it, but even that is a legitimate reason to not like it. I’d elaborate on my multiplayer frustrations (including being called a clueless noob fag) but I’m sure no one wants to hear it. I’ll just stick to the games I have.
I loved the trial, had a blast playing against AI with my friend, so I bought the full game, and I think it’s awesome. Some observations:
The editor is a little frustrating to use IMO but you can make a ton of cool stuff with it.
I have no interest in playing online matches. I’m okay at RTSs but nowhere near good enough to think I could compete with the people who get really into it. I’ll stick to SP and MP with my friend.
After having played a while I find that, in-game, the lack of AA isn’t really noticeable that much, so whatever. But I really do like to have at least a little bit in most games, maybe it’s just me but it bugs me to see everything looking all jaggy. It’s never been a dealbreaker though.
Also the Ghost’s voice makes me rage a bit.
There are some people complaining about the price, I find it very odd that I could found SC2 for R$50 (~ $25). Usually the prices in Brazil are much higher than the original price, specially right after the release.
I’m gonna wait for a while to buy it, though.
People are starting to say that on higher resolutions, and with different rendering/lighting techniques, games can look fine without AA. So maybe I’ll try disabling it in games I can’t run well.
it’s also just 39€ in germany and I think that’s a great price, I wonder why it’s so expensive in the USA? oO
