There’s three reviews from different agencies that played both the breakout style game and burnout. This is something that Sony didn’t have. An actual working system that ANYBODY could play 2 different games on (plus the Milo tech thing from lionhead studios). Sony had a tech demo. This could be compared to Microsoft’s Milo (the fishing one), but I agree that Sony’s tech demo was better simply because they did more with it. However, from a purely technical point of view Natal looks way more impressive to me.

As well as hardly believable.
That is, unless they show something other than Milo, Ricochet, Burnout and some media library shit.

EDIT:

Eh, there you go, Level.

This is so damn funny when you read it. This guy is a fucking moron.
So wait, I need now use both hands all the time to steer? Impressive.
And what if I want to change gear? Paddle shifts?
Watch Top Gear’s Aston Martin review to see how paddle shifts suck.

Such bullshit in press adds even more fuel to scepticism.
I think I’d better stop now though. For great justice. Before I go inane and amok.

Older games might not be so well supported, but new games will probably come with an update for the sensor, which adds that particular game to the database so the detection can be done by other teams or in smaller parts.

edit
Saw your post. Games might have it programmed in, but theoretically they could get it to work with unsupported games.

Read above post.
Burnout was pre-programmed.

EDIT:

Theoretically, yeah.
Well, practically, we gonna see next year. If they don’t scrap it.

It’ll come out, even if it’s shit. Microsoft has a tenancy of releasing stuff that’s not worth releasing.

Best show on television. “Stupid flappy paddles!”

Cheers mate.

i like how full of shit they are, its just a fancy 3d scaner, making games isnt about scanning existing stuff and putting in in game, but makeing stuff O_o
I wonder whats cheaper, getting a jet from the military into a 3d scannig studio, or modleing it by hand ?

If you bothered to watch the E3 press conferences OldDirtyBastard, you would’ve seen that MS did demo Natal live, multiple times.

More like this…

[COLOR=‘Red’]EDIT : BTW, this thing pretty much rocks IMO and if they can perfect it, it would be great to play FPS’s on it!

I think it’s a waste of energy, I’m glad that the stupid people who will waste their money on this will get a hell of a workout before they realize that controllers are better.

On a side note, at least Microsoft pretty much pwned Nintendo by stealing their idea and removing the controllers all together.

@intooblivion
Oh I was struggling to find this sphere on google, but i didn’t know the name. Anyway this stuff is why it’s so funny to me how MS is pretending Natal to be super-advanced and capable of everything within a tiny box.
Just compare this:

And this pretentious piece of junk:

Well, I watched it and admitted it somewhere in my posts.
Either way, neither very much fun, nor me being that much impressed. Unless they show something other than some gimmicky bullshit, sony’s didlo looks more attractive and fun, no matter the shape (you perverts…)
EDIT:

Well yeah, what if you play a game featuring Chuck Norris?
When do those turtlenecks understand that people don’t need fancy technology to get a proper workout…

Lightstage?

Yeah right, but this last one is far more advanced than stuff they used a couple of years ago.

So you’re sayin that sittin on the couch and getting fatter is better than burning some calories plus havin fun at the same time, without even having to step into a gym or onto a treadmill?? :fffuuu:

Wow, ODB.

When are you planning on admitting that you’re a super uber mega Sony fanboy?

Natal looks amazing. Sony brought out a couple of Butt Plugs.

Deal with it.

What you don’t like butt plugs?

I wasn’t saying that, just that they don’t make good gaming peripherals. Unless the game is foreplay.

Foreplay is no game. I take it very seriously. :^|
