Portal 2 -- Unlocked!

Especially not Garry’s mod!

awesome game, definitely more difficult than the first one

Friggin’ stuck on (Spoilers in the black) [COLOR=‘Black’]that portion of the test spheres where there are two vents spewing propulsion and repulsion gels alternating and some platforms above ooze. There’s a box above one of the platforms on a hanging platform that I just can’t get to and I can’t figure out what to do! :rage:

If you were slightly more specific… :stuck_out_tongue:

I’ll take a screenshot of the area later.

Really? I’m up to chapter 8 and haven’t found anything overly challenging yet. Only got stuck on a few puzzles but the longest I think it took was 10 minutes before I figured out what to do. So far I found the first one to be more difficult.

It’s probably one of the hardest game I have played recently. It gets really hard near the end with all the gel and shit. It’s not so much hard, as it is I can’t figure out what the game wants me to do.

It’s kind of a sloppy game that jumps right in. The story is kinda whack, there isn’t much diversity.

I am shamefully saying – and I haven’t even decided if this is how I feel, but I think the game kind of let me down.

Though, the game was really funny in the begining.

The ending… oh god, the ending…

I wished too hard.

I will recover…

Wheatley never failed to make me laugh, neither did the chapters POSSIBLE SPOILER[COLOR=‘Black’]with Cave Johnson, he made me laugh really often. Mantis men, lolSPOILER END I got stuck on maybe 3 puzzles, but not for very long. I think I beat one of them in a way you’re not even supposed to. Haven’t played the coop yet, but I think it will be harder. Still Alive > the song at the end of this one though.

Did any one really think the ending song would surpass Still Alive. It just can’t be done.

Are there any translations for the [COLOR=‘Black’]opera song at the end?

Black text

eh… I like the new one better.

If it’s where I’m thinking of, here is a pointer: If you cover the box in bouncy fluid it will bounce around and smash glass.

^^ Co-op is rather fun to do with a friend, takes some more thought than the SP, on the third set of testing chambers now, and still not to gels and more complex things.

I am in this room (click link for potential spoiler) and can’t figure out what to do.

Well just explaining it through text would be rather complicated, but the best I can really tell you is to [COLOR=‘Black’]create a speed ramp with the orange gel and launch yourself. There’s a good bit more to it than that, but it would take a while to explain, that room took a little bit of time for me too.

I think my biggest issue with that room is [COLOR=‘Black’]how to get to that box for the button. I think I have a pretty good idea where to go from there.

EDIT: HAH! Figured it out.

the new engine is strange, its like a console port :S im sad a bit
for example there is a table with a chair, why the hell are they welded together, when u hit the chair with ur bodey …nothing happanes.
and I cant figure out how to enable console, when I do it thro the keyboard menu, nothing happanes
and when I do -console in set launch options. I get a console but ONLY in the main menu. and whatever I do in the new shitty menu it closes automatically and i hawe to restart the game.

Either you’re retarded and have serious menu navigating problems, or something is seriously wrong with your keyboard and it keeps pressing buttons whenever you go into the menu- and then and only then.

I’d say it’s the first one.

well found something from valve:
Valve has teased that if they were ever going to support PlayStation Move or even 3D, then it would have to wait until next time with Portal the 3rd.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
