I think the correct term would be “a solid copy of it”
Depends what he wants to use it for
But I think the best word for it would be tangible
AWESSSSSSSSSSSSOME GAME
But, item store makes me a sad panda. I hope Valve doesn’t do this for every game now… Portal Co-op Testing Initiative - The Team Fortress 2 Edition.
Meh, I didn’t even notice the item store. It has no bearing on me, because no way in hell will I be shelling out money for cosmetic co-op upgrades. If they were dangling REAL content over our heads, I’d be furious, but that doesn’t appear to be the case thus far. No harm, no foul.
The game is absolutely great. The engine is looking spiffy (though the frequency of loading screens is bad even by Valve standards) and the writing and voice acting are top notch – my only real complaint is that so far the game is a breeze. I wish there was an advanced mode or something. The puzzles are really interesting, but none of them so far have exactly been brain-stumpers.
The map e1912 is a commercial for the movie super 8. I am disappoint.
…Or you could just go through the Extras menu…
Just finished it, AWESOME. GAME!
Now I’ll just have to wait for the SDK files
… Or I’ll play it through again!
Why is there no console ingame?
I just bought it in a store. off to play it
I was really sad at the end of the singleplayer campaign.
I just hope that Valve adds a future update to Portal 2 where [SPOILER] Chell gets knocked down and brought somewhere else so we can have Portal 3.
^ NO
Y U NO like my wish?
I just bought it! Installing now
How long is the singleplayer and co-op?
You can enable console from the keyboard menu, same as always.
I have heard about people using 8 hours on SP (Valve held there promise about a long game), but there are rumors about a person doing it in 69 minutes (Little early for a speedrun?)
If you go galloping through and miss all the cool details, storytelling, and easter eggs, it’s about 3-4 hours. Some people are reporting far less, but methinks they be trollin’.
For normal people who aren’t joyless speed-hounds, you’re looking at 6-10 hours. Some people are reporting as long as 14, but that’s moving really slowly IMOP.
Puzzle games are obviously tough to measure on a timeline because two people can have totally different experiences. My friend spent at least 10 hours on Portal 1 because he sucks ass at puzzle games.
I love it so far, haven’t gotten much of chance to play with school, but this Spring break will be more like Portal 2 break for me, lol.
I pirated it but it crashes when you press exit (obviously unplayable )
Moral of the story: Don’t pirate Valve games.
