She “rewards you” for coming back.
There is something at the end that could be construed as being related to the Half-Life universe. But I’m not going to say what.
There is more related to Half-Life in it… you just have to explore more. Think… BOREALIS
Im thinking, but I really cant relate anything BOREALIS to portal :S
You can see the borealis by going through a secret door. It’s nothing special really.
you only see the dry dock anyway
Wow you are a band wagon jumping fucktard just as I suspected.
People think I’m retarded because I’m argumentative. And on such a large forum there are going to be a lot of people who disagree with me, and unlike the average user who either moves along goes with the crowd or takes the moderate route in everything, when I disagree with people I argue the shit out of it. Oh and I troll from time to time, it’s just taken a long time for people to realize any of that.
You’ve taken the “go with the crowd” option so far you use it even when it doesn’t make sense, so fuck off tool (did I use my new word right? ). Congratulations, you are now by far my most disliked person on this forum. At least most people who trash talk me are sincere, or are just trying to stroke their e-penis coughFancy Pantscough.
Get some
Now learn what the word “irony” means and you’re golden.
:retard::facepalm:
Sweet Sweet Victory
Edit: Oops double post
I think that’s a bit of a pitiful way to achieve your victory.
I couldn’t really give a shit about fitting in, so I’m not sure how tool would ever apply to me. Or is this just applying to the post where I said ironic before?
Can’t you people bitch and cry in the ladies club and let the spoilers happen here please?
Don’t cry.
Made one, complete https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A0nBV3ubBwE
Plus, I add something.
Charlotte, she’s not a she. And neither an He. Many indication told you in the game, references to SF movies.
Valve seems to like Blade Runner… Portal 3 spoiler, or not, as old guy of Aperture science may do it before. Transferring his brain into a computer.
So, Charlotte may be a she, but not a real. She was human before, bur now, immortal and useless in a land of dryness, no humans anymore. And nothing to do.
Sadness in the end for humans as well for these robots. No imaginations. Very clever ending.
As others have stated… You can see the dry loading dock for the Borealis in a hidden door. It’s not that hidden, but not obvious either. More towards the end of the game.
It was really a robot built by Cave Johnson, but since you don’t experience the life Aperture/Valve have given the androids, you still call them a material object.
If Aperture invented putting a human mind into a machine before everyone died, then mr. Johnson’s mind has been put into a computer to run the whole company, but he died before that and Charlotte got to run the place.
You were expecting a big reveal, and, indeed, you got a vast meadow. Seems like the joke’s on you.
I thought the ending was great. To me, it signified the hopelessness of life in a post-post-apocalyptic world. At first I thought Chell would run back to the shack and bang on it, begging to be let back in. That’s probably what I would do if I knew that the (presumably) last bastion of human civilization was very deep underground.
Well, I thought the above looked pretty nice… I would’ve gone with the above too, if the outside were wastelands .
Who is Charlotte the game only mentions Caroline
