What got my attention in HL2 wasn’t the graphics - was the story. :slight_smile:

I think they’re delaying Portal 2 because they want to go deeper in the Portal background, maintaining the puzzle formula.

If they create a great story I won’t really care about graphics BUT they really help in the creation of the environment. The more the visual impact the more impact the story will have. HL2 achieved that formula in 2004 and I trust on Valve in every aspect of game creation.

Personally, I saw it coming. But as long as Valve doesn’t delay it anymore, we’ll be fine.
Hell, now we got one year to wait for it, so I doubt there will be any more delays for now! :smiley:

I’m not going crazy about their E3 “surprise” at all. I’m looking forward to it, but I’m not bitching about it. At least it’s “Portal 2 themed,” so they’re probably going to show us some information, one way or another.

This probably won’t matter as long as Valve doesn’t let Onlive publish their games on their system. The Valve games are too fun for me to leave Steam.
