Parts of Half Life you didn't like

All of the Xen levels.

Aw, c’mon! I loved Uplink even if it was a demo. It rang true with it’s own story.

Meh, way too hard for a demo IMO

The one giant 2-hour block of seemingly uneventful levels in HL1, starting around Blast Pit

Meeting Alyx.

Episode One.

You must be pretty bad at FPS games.

I was just playing Stalker and it made me feel bad at FPS games.

I forgot about the Follow Freeman part so I change mine to that.

I forgot about Follow Freeman. One of the reasons I like Ep1 so much is that they did City 17 so much better in Ep1 than in Follow Freeman, I think.

No, Uplink just did a piss poor job of directing the player. How the fuck was I supposed to know there was a vent BEHIND a vending machine??

Was there really anywhere else to go? :expressionless:

Gonarch

Gonarch

Gonarch

For the love of god Go-freaking-narch
I ran around blasting that bitch for what felt like hours, aiming for what I assumed was her weak point (Read: Nutsack) and praying that I didn’t fall down that damn hole again while blindly firing at the baby headcrabs I couldn’t see because they blended in with the background and constantly trying to think of a new strategy and hightailing it back to the healing pool in the pit over and over again it bugs mesomuchIjustwannascreamsomuchandputanaxeinmyPCyeaarghaadahsasfsdpfgdfgndf;hjnfbknfb;fbm;adri7eyrwefOEFG.

Also I’m not fond of the first Garg battle.

I didn’t like getting the nectar crap for Alyx in the antlion caves… I don’t hate it though, very memorable moment, just found it to be a little tedious and troublesome…

The first time I played through the games, absolutely loved every single minute. Completely enchanted with them.

After my fifth or sixth play-through I started to find that some of the areas wore on my nerves. On a Rail is longer than it needed to be. The Gonarch fight annoyed the shit out of my on my most recent play through (strangely enough, it wasn’t that hard on my very first go).

Basically all of Follow Freeman. There weren’t any parts during that chapter that made me thing “hell yeah! bad ass!” it was all “ARGH, I RATHER NAIL MY HANDS TO SCRAPWOOD THAN DO THIS”

The suppression cannon always blows the shit out of me half a dozen times in a row because I can never find that door.

The part where you’re running through the city fleeing striders helplessly. The part where you’re climbing those ramps in the gutted building with a strider circling it, shooting at you.

blegh.

Going down in the caves for the extract in EP2. It sucks so hard.
Finding that I squashed 332 grubs.

:’(

Interloper and Highway 17; ones just annoying and the other is bland

in EP1
inside the citadel where you and alyx are descending on a big elevator, and huge chunks of citadel are falling down on you. I die there like 20 times every time i play EP1

Its just near impossible to steer those objects around the descending elevator, and avoid getting crushed ._.
hate that place

Sandtrap.

I hate cheating in fps’s and think it ruins the entire point of playing the game, but every time I get to that spot I noclip. Worst level of any game I have EVER played.

I take back my above statement, Stalker is my least favorite of all time, even worse than Tomb Raider Underworld. The navigation sucks and you have to use so many fucking health kits. It’s not hard, it’s just really really really really annoying having to look at the tiny little health bar even 3 seonds and hit the health kit hotkey. Why oh why couldn’t they just give you a lot of health and very few health kits??? Also the navigation system and everything in the game felt clunky overcomplicated and under explained.

I’d have to say Highway 17. People say they can beat HL2 in 6 hrs, but Highway 17 has so many buildings that are mainly for show that it makes the game feel so much longer than it should.

The worst part of HL is “Forget about Freeman”, it just sucks cownipples. All the alien grunts and vorts are totally raping me to death on that level every time I play it. They are just overpowered. :fffuuu:

Would you be shocked to know that i am masturbating at this very moment?
