Parts of Half Life you didn't like

What are some parts in Half Life you just hated doing.

For me it’s the level Interloper. It just scares the hell out of me with those ugly walls and the 4 different levels that are filled with vortigaunts that rape you with green shit and the boxes that have alien grunts in them if you break them open and you get little health but for the blue things that refill your life forces and it’s just like damn man. Damn.

Residue Processing. Whole chapter just sucks.

wave after wave after wave of antlions in ep2.

Oh, the gunship fight in ep1. I always have to blow away the roof to bloody see the thing, and then it cuts me down since I have no cover.

That’s one of my favorite parts of the game… :fffuuu: I liked RP, too… Not my favorite part, but far from the worst, I thought.

I always thought the gonarch fight stuck out like a sore thumb. It was one of the few boss battles that really required no puzzle solving, just spamming nades and using up all of your rare ammo. Nihilanth too, although to a lesser extent.

Residue Processing and Interloper were the only parts I disliked. Oh, and Inbound starts getting old after your third playthrough.

Going back to the citadel in ep1. Kinda sucked except for the super gravity gun

I only hate the chapter “Interloper” like most of you do. Actually I hate the whole borderworld.

Why has no one said “On A Rail” yet? Damn I hate that chapter.

I didn’t like Residue Processing. The whole level is just too boring.

On a Rail, it’s just to repetitive.

On a Rail. The worst chapter in the whole series.

On A Rail.

three letters and no it is not a squirell

xen

That makes perfect sense.

Yep, On a Rail is my least favorite. I just got to the end of HL a little bit ago and kept dying on the Gonarch so I’d say fighting that thing too. And Ravenholm in HL2.

Meh, Ravenholm was alright for me. In Half-Life 2 I would have to say Nova Prospect.
In Episode 2 it would be going down to find the extract.

The buggy car part too was kind of weird for me as well. I got lost a lot. That and the part where you have to find the batteries to open the gate, I couldn’t find all of them so I managed to push the car over the gate with the Gravity Gun  .

The vehicle sections were far too long IMO.

EW, EW, EW! Highway 17 BLECK!
