Yeah, definatly Residue Processing… to boring, i always use noclip in that part when i replay the game…
HL2 - Ravenholm - the thing is that Half Life series have that scientific approach, with horror elements… Ravenholm was just two survival horror genre witch i dont like in HL… Maybe whole HL2 and episodes suffer of this issue - luckily there are to many other qualities that make the game great, but in Ravenholm everything is just survival horror.
none
I loved every single minute of the HL series so far.
“Forget about freeman” It was just really annoying but besides that the rest was great.
TOO many god damn annoying aliens and soldiers it got under my skin like no other!!
^^ this
tho, getting the citizens to the train in EP1 was a little tiresome
What’s zen? Fist of Zen maybe?
I hear ya. Long, boring, and filled with retarted puzzles. My opinion, it sucks balls.:3
Eh, i disliked the entirety of Episode 1, it just was to repetitive and suckish. (Although i really liked the hospital level)
probably Ravenholm. If it weren’t for my sad weakness to horror scenes, I would say the antlion hive in ep.2.
I hated fighting the queen thing. One minute your fine, then your flying through the air towards an instakill pit.
I enjoyed all of Half-life so far. Ravenholm is creepy but honestly, as much as people hate certain sections, I couldn’t imagine the game with out them. every single moment is a memorable moment. every goodie find is great, every death…awesome. I laugh no matter what happens. I learn from my deaths, get up, and try a different strategy, learning what works what doesn’t. Thats what’s fun for me. is the learning aspect of the games, bettering myself and strategies.
defending bots in ep 1
'bout as stupid as the bots in L4D
Actually, since their aren’t any bridges to jump or sands to cross past that checkpoint you can just walk to the lighthouse. I did, and the rebels there seemed convinced that Gordon Freeman had an invisble car.
the part between Ravenholm and when you get back in the city.
ravenholm
on a rail
all of ep1
that one level where you had eat a tire (whoops wrong game)
apprehension
I know I’ll probably get flamed out the rear (:fffuuu for saying this, but there is only one portion in any of the Half Life games (Valve only) that I didn’t like at all:
The Strider battle at the end of Episode 2.
It’s probably due to me not having a good enough computer to handle it, but trying to aim those damned Magnusson Devices at the little part of the Strider body…only to have the Strider shoot the damned thing while it’s flying towards it? Or missing the body entirely and watching it suffer a yellow death when it lands… Or trying to kill the hunters while you hear bleep-beep “Another Strider coming from the sawmill!”
I quite literally had to save the game after each Strider went down and go and cool down because I was so angry at the battle. It took me at least two weeks to get through it.
It wasn’t fun for me. At all.
“Follow Freeman!”… I liked how in Half Life if you told a buddy to stay, he’ll stay.
You tell a helpful set of hired guns in HL2 to stay and wait, after you move a certain distance they follow you to certain death.
Oh, and near the end of anti-citizen one, that battle…
HL - Itckysaur in the water behind the dam. Didn’t see that damn valve for hours.
OP4 - Voltigore tunnel.
BS - Going down to get another battery… All that equipment and they didn’t have a spare? Common…
Decay - Final boss battle.
Uplink - All of it.
HL2 - Manhack tunnels.
EP1 - Antlion Guard battle.
EP2 - Just bits of the antlion caves. I pretty much liked all of EP2.
That never really bothered me, it was just a matter of running backwards while firing the SAW. What I absolutely DREAD however is closing those damn doors to stop the Pit Drones pouring in.
Ah yes, I forgot about that area. Quite a nasty situation.
