No New Valve Game At E3

“It took me two hours to makes this drawing. I spent one and a half hours drawing something else, then decided I didn’t like it so I threw it away and drew this in about 30 minutes. So yeah, this drawing took me two hours.” If you start over from scratch then the previous work doesn’t count. DNF has started from scratch several times, so realistically, yeah it’s only been in development for about 4-5 years.
Not revealing anything at E3 DOES NOT in any way shape or form mean that they haven’t been doing anything with HL. You can be absolutely sure they’re working on something HL related right now, they’re just not telling us anything about it.

Your idiotic optimism makes me lol. You desperately believe this without any evidence other than wanting it to be true. I doubt Valve will be revealing anything at E3 because they said they won’t be revealing anything at E3. They’re not going to downright lie to the community just to make it a surprise when it’d already be a surprise anyway.

Your logic has gaps the size of the Grand Canyon and your beliefs and opinions are determined by what you’d like to believe.

So ? I can believe whatever I want
Valve not at E3 ? So be it, but there must be at least some info this year … its been 4 years … lol at Valve saying next Half-Life will not take long as HL2 did.
1 year to go Valve.

And if what you believe is dumb I can criticize your for it.

What is dumb for you is not dumb for everyone.

In this particular case it is.

The hack had nothing to do with anything. Most of the finalized content was in the leak in an unpolished, uncompiled form. The leak had little to do with the delay & wasn’t the first one.

Ok then, fair enough. But Garrth does have a point, even if they did stop & radically re-design the game from the ground up, it was still time spent in development.

Who knows, maybe the same thing happened with Episode 3.

Holy shit, It’s totally true!

Three is the number that takes their power

The name “Episode Three” and “Half-LIfe 3” can be considered “new” ?

Anyway, I think we can say bye-bye to the first one, after all this time, people deserve a full lenght HL game. Anyway, even if we can’t expect a new Half-Life game from Valve in the near future, I think we can, from our favorite modder team.

Maybe Black Mesa.
That was a joke, HA HA, fat chance.

Thanks for needlessly bumping the topic with a stale old quote.

It was just 3 days.

A necropost count since day 2 and since then the percentage of fail is multiplied with the number of days since the last post.

You just literally raped the English language.

Fail = ((lastpost-today)+2)*(today-lastpost)
where fail increases as the value of the result becomes more negative.
I like it. Good job. It’s like electron affinity, except more fun.

whore ray.

I know Valve said “no new games at E3”, but does Episode 3 really count as a “new game”?

Yes. It’s not out yet, so it’s new. And again, there will be no Episode 3.

Valve will appear on the gamescom, but they will show Dota 2.

yes

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
