Yeah, that’s a large problem but I was in one of the threads talking about it and the people there swear that Gabe said they were in the process of making a new engine and that it would be used on their next game. There were a few other things too, but that was the largest thing that I remember. Gabe explicitly asked them not to ask about HL3 and they complied.
