Modern Warfare 3

All opinions have some sort of reason behind them. Just tell us: how is Modern Warfare perfect?

I’m stuck on challenge 275 in Mortal Kombat. You have to defeat three Goros with a single health bar using Ermac.

now THAT´S the clever reason…ok then…for me it´s perfect, because:

  1. of storyline ( yes, it has a storyline, but you first have to read between the lines n_n )
  2. of graphics
  3. of action
  4. it´s something different from standard WW2 CoD games ( based on present conflicts, modern weapons, I was even surprised in MW1, when my character died during the storyline after the nuclear explosion…)
  5. even soundtrack sounds good
  6. hmm…i like it
  1. Most cliche storyline ever.
  2. The graphics aren’t even good, and the IW engine is getting old.
  3. There are far better “action” or fps games
  4. It’s the exact same at CoD WW2 games, just with perks and in our time.
  5. I can give you that, it was composed by Hans Zimmer
  6. Ok?

Have you not noticed that Raziel is just yet another retarded kid on this forum who likes everything that is shiny and hyperactive?

Battlefield 3 > Modern Warfare 3

I’d put cash on it.

That’s not explaining anything.

Actually, it explains so much…

that’s the problem. but not with me because I hope that Battlefield 3 will make the run and I won’t buy (again) CoD. BF3 is real quality.

That applies to pretty much every AAA shooter…

So hooray for another game that lets you take part in an action movie where most of the time it doesn’t even fucking matter whether you even shoot at stuff or not.

Yay!

It’s not even a “game”, it’s just the illusion of one.

That is a meaningless video and is posted largely by idiots. Many games allow you to finish their first level, or levels with companions, without shooting. The point is it is your job to make it fun. You can choose to shoot, choose to have fun, or you can choose to not have fun. Up to you.

Same applies to life really. And stupid internet arguments.

Holy shit, that was the most hyperactive gameplay I’ve ever seen. It’s like meth combined with gasoline.

you´re making too much noise around my opinion …but don´t worry, for stubborn kids ( f.e. Maxey ) there is a solution - ignore my opinion…got it? :stuck_out_tongue:

I intensely dislike you. This thread is about discussion. If you will not discuss properly it is not us who should ignore you but you who should STFU. It’s not simply that we dislike your opinion, it’s that your opinion is hilariously baseless. Lets look at it.

  1. Mediocre storyline. “Cool” scenes designed to impress 12 year olds come before storyline. For example, switching back and forth between characters to change the setting makes it so you can’t attach to any one character. On top of that, characters have little personality and that they do is cliched.
  2. No it has shitty graphics. Blackmesa. Crysis. Bulletstorm. Deadspace. Batman Arkham Asylum. FEAR 2. Halo 3. All of them have better graphics than any CoD game. And CoD tends to have these blurry lumpy textures that make they’re already ugly game look worse.
  3. Explain. I do not call hiding behind cover and popping up to shoot endless hordes of dumb weak enemies action. If you mean cutscenes, sure they’re cool, but why not just go watch a movie?
  4. You act like WW2 CoD games are the only alternative. If you wanted a future game, why not play something other than CoD for once? And really, all that’s changed is the setting. It’s stillt he same old CoD now and forever.
  5. Not enough to make a game “perfect”.
  6. <—your age.

Also, from what you’ve written it sounds like you’ve only played the campaigns in CoD. The campaigns are like 1 percent of the actual game. They’re short as hell and really an afterthought to the multiplayer. If you think CoD is perfect just by playing the campaigns it show just how much of a dumbass fanboy you are.

Jump more because his stomping is annoying as hell.

  1. sounds like you´ve heard this opinion from someone older than you or you´ve read some smart texts on the net …lame storyline or not, still it has a storyline …and I like that storyline
  2. I don´t understand why are you comparing MW , which is FPS , with Batman or Dead space ? If you want to compare games , then try to compare it with the same genre ( for better explanation FPS - FPS, RPG - RPG )
  3. ok …here I agree…shooting a horde of stupid enemies is meaningless…yes those cutscenes are great…movie? if you are really serious with this then there shouldn´t be any action games and we all should go to the cinema or buy a dvd …
  4. nope, you´re an idiot, because you´re talking about something different than I…I´ve just said that first CoD games were set in WW2 ( CoD 1,2,3 ) and then the MW was in present which was something new in CoD era …
  5. ok, but still, Hanz Zimmer is a genius
  6. <— yeah, your age
  7. <— my age

You´ve wanted to discuss…well, I´m discussing

Haha what the hell I didn’t realize I posted that in here :stuck_out_tongue: .

Those two are the only ones he listed that weren’t FPS’ and even then those two are very close over the shoulder view which, while different than an FPS, is still fairly close. And besides graphics quality shouldn’t be genre specific anyway his point is still valid.

@#4: War now is the exact same as it was in WW2, just with “perks” and in our time…
