No it’s not.
War in 1944 and 2011
What they have in common:
-multiple armies shooting at each other
-airplanes, navies, tanks, artillery
-snipers
-espianoge and counterintelligence
-etc.
Differences:
-better uniforms / armor
-newer, faster, more accurate guns
-NLOS capabilities
-better intelligence techniques
All I see is the same basic setup with adaptions to better equipment and techniques.
Like: enhancing the AI and weapon-set in a video game and then playing it. This does not make it a different game (usually).
Are the CoD games like war? Is war something we do for fun?
No, and no, and that is not what I said.
So how was your post a relevant reply at all? I wasn’t even talking about real war, I was saying that there has been basically change in the gameplay of CoD.
You said the gameplay of COD has not changed.
I replied by saying the “gameplay” of real war (which COD is based on) has not changed.
If you change the gameplay of a game whose gameplay is based on real war, it isn’t going to be a war game anymore.
How could you change the gameplay, anyhow? (serious question, I would like to see COD develop a bit, if possible)
CoD isn’t like real war, and I could say a pretty good number of things CoD could do to change the gameplay, but that would be me thinking of ideas from other games, which wouldn’t be very original. I wish the developers of CoD could innovate some, and try to change the way their game is played. They are already making larger maps with destructible environment, but that’s not original in the least.
That is a contradictory statement there. A well made game can’t be boring. Generally speaking, a well made game denotes that it is a great game which is worthy of praise. I don’t know about you, but I haven’t played any great games that were boring.
I was trying to say that MW was glitch free and thought out and play tested and work was put into it. However, it was still boring. MW2 was full of glitches and other problems, but was still fun despite that and would have been really fun if it weren’t for said problems.
Raziel is a complete idiot and or troll. I’m not even going to bother replying to him anymore.
Love like trolls call other people trolls
He likes CoD, You dont too much.
Is he idiot for that ?
Sure, we all are idiots because we dont like Battlefield which is sure better … boring as hell game.
See? Just my opinion on Battlefield which does not mean its for everyone.
Just give it a chance, they said there will be great updates to the engine.
Saying it will be the same as mw1,mw2 and bo is not reasonable … there are working 3 different developers on it which mean its not by same people.
Gameplay trailer is out.
Looks more of the same on an even bigger scale.
Meh.
edit: welp, it was taken out.
edit2: new link, this one in HD. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=coiTJbr9m04
I’m wondering if Americans would still save poor lil French and German doods while their country is invaded and after they lost thousands of troops in the nuke in MW1 and the Washington invasion in MW2.
You’re fucking stupid too. It’s not that he doesn’t like CoD that makes me dislike him so much, it’s that he can’t formulate a decent coherent argument. Oh hey, just like you.
As for the rest of your post, the latest CoDs have never been very little about the developer and all about the publisher. They fired half of IW just for wanting to try something new. Just from watching that video it reeks of same.
So the plot of this game revolves around Russia invading the USA, France, Germany, and England.
All at the same time?
Retarded.
Poor Russians, always portrayed as the bad guys, it’s funny because in actuality it’s the Americans that are waging war all the time. Oh well it’s just a game.
If the USA was still allied to Germany and the UK, how would the Russian pass a whole fucking fleet through Europe to get to the east coast without raising and eyebrow? (During MW2, remember?)
Why are they invanding everything? Are they just dicks? Do they have any real motivation other than “americunts sock gimme vodka”?
God I hate the storyline in these games.
I don’t see how this new trailer looks any different from any of the last few call of duty games, except more shit is exploding in major cities around the world. The lack of any observable improvement in the graphics engine is just laughable. Can’t wait for BF3 to come and take a huge steaming turd on MW3’s head.
Again with the Russians? What is with these guys and their unhealthy obsession with killing them?
Looks like the same game that’s been released 4 times already.
CoD is dead to me.
Plays Brink

No, you dislike me because I´m not a pesimistic geek like you. Look, I only wrote my opinion without “hurting” anyone and then you bumped into me, “forcing” me to explain it…I explained my opinion, again without hurting everyone and then you called me an idiot, because I don´t want to discuss about it properly…it was JUST AN OPINION ( for better view ) and you behave like it´s a global breach in your ego…realise that people have different personality, different behaviour and DIFFERENT OPINIONS I don´t need to show how “smart I am and how I can tell everyone who´s against my opinion how big idiot he is, so I can celebrate my victory with my right hand…” …I think that´s all
Probably because the studios have to make a new title every two years, I doubt there’s time to do a major engine overhaul. Besides, the series is a major cash cow. Nobody is going to waste time on a new engine to get some fancier graphics that will most likely only result in minimal gain seeing how the game is now heavily dependent on the console market (and thus limited in terms of graphics power).
