L4D 2

Doesn’t mean that is copied straight out of Killing Floor or any other damned game. My point is that I’m suprised that Valve incorporated melee weapons in L4D2 :expressionless:

Melee weapons = less ammo = more zombies spawn = need melee weapons
Or just for fun.
Next time they should put a shield like those from riot cops, that could be helpful

You wound me with your words.

You seem confused. You were the one who said they copied the melee weapons from Killing Floor.

I don’t care what game they copied from, it just look fun!!!

They seem like they were copied straight out of Killing Floor is not the same as They are copied straight out of Killing Floor

And again

Melee weapons own! Don’t question it, just enjoy it!

why have a sequel just a year after the game was released!? The melee weapons should just be downloadable…same goes for any new maps:p

so yeah…not really excited…

I have to admit that the Frying Pan concept looks fun :3

Frying pan in Versus is gonna have epic humiliation potential for twatting the Infected team to death with.

That is if we get versus mode… I am having fears that versus will come in expansion pack :open_mouth:

Valve have confirmed that L4D2 will ship with 5 Campaigns, Versus mode, Survival mode and (If I remember correctly) a mode that they haven’t mentioned yet.

Yea thanks for the info, but I was joking on the fact that EA games distributes retail version of the game, and I was afraid that versus mode will come in an expansion (The sims x anyone?)

I agree, it’s far too soon for a new L4D in my most humble opinion.

So far it looks pretty fun, but ideally it would be DLC that would go in the game for free. However, if they discount it for Steam account members, I’ll probably still end up buying it.

It’s not like it makes a difference.

Most of l4d is “melee to the end unless there’s a boss infected” anyway.

Yeah this is too soon, but honestly that’s the ONLY problem.

People are saying it just needs to be DLC, but I BET that if this was revealed two years later, no changes, people’d be cumming their pants.

then everyone would get a discount, which would kind of defeat the purpose of a discount in the first place, don’t you think?

Agreed. I think what everyone is trying to get at is if the second game ships with everything from L4D1, L4D1 owners should get a discount otherwise it basically is being stabbed in the back.

As for Ep3, I would way prefer it to L4D2. It goes like this EP3>BM>L4D2
L4D2 is not bringing enough new stuff to the table. BM are recreating everything from HL1 to the Source engine, and L4D2 are just wacking in melee weapons a few new survivors and levels and a new infected.

I’m not buying it unless its like £15 or $30 for people that own L4D1.

So im basically like > :frowning:

So, not exactly huge news for L4D2, but it’s still irksome (at least to me) that there are organisations that seek to refuse us what we subject ourselves to. I’m speaking of censorship.

Turns out the wonderfully useless (being as most parents clearly don’t take an interest in their childrens interests or mature gamers just can’t make those decisions for themselves) ESRB has forced Valve to change the cover art for L4D2 already.

Here’s the article courtesy of IGN: https://pc.ign.com/articles/995/995772p1.html

So, it goes from Violence to profanity? (for the Europe buyers)

So basically it will be worth the full price.
I mean, shouldn’t we of boycotted Call of Duty 5, Every 3D Zelda game, Every Madden game, Grand theft Auto: Vice City, DOOM II, etc. All of these are pretty much just the same as it’s predecessor with new stuff and/or released within a year of the original.
The funny thing is, I wasn’t going to get L4D2 because it was takes place durring the day and the characters look stupid. Now, because of how retarded this whole boycott thing is, I’m now getting it!
