What the hell is the “Savannah Campaign” going to be about? Says it takes place before the infection. I’m sure it will tie into the “stronger narrative thread to connect the campaigns”, but what will the player actually do if they aren’t killing zombies?

From the 5 or 6 videos I watched, it looks pretty lame. L4D was a survival horror game, and now it’s just survival. No horror aspect whatsoever. Now it’s basically dead rising, just running around killing zombies. Not excited about this game at all.
Did you just try to mini-mod a dev?

Why does every video game sequel have to have different characters? Zoey, Francis, Louis, and Frank were awesome for no reason except they looked and sounded awesome! But playing an all black cast just annoys me for some reason. FYI, I’m not racist. I just like variety in my characters.
But, maybe these characters will eventually grow on me like the original four. Either way, this better not be Valve’s only announcement.

Ep. 3 was announced way before L4D, and everyone thought the reason Ep.3 had so little info was because L4D was about to be released.
And now… They still have no info on Ep.3 and bring us L4D2 info?
I am indeed very dissapointed, maybe the sales were so good they decided to screw Ep.3 for a little while longer while milking L4D?

It looks like a cool expansion pack for L4D, but why the hell would we spend $50 (IT will be $50, or more) for an expansion pack? Is VALVe pulling the same crap as Bethesda and EA? Come on.

Information about the development was given in 2007 I think, look at Google for links, maybe not entirely official but I doubt they would pull concept art out of their asses for fun now would they?
They said it was being made, but not anything about what happens, when it’s coming out, etc.
Also I didn’t even buy the original l4d because it’s always been too overpriced for me.

I’m guessing, it will be that the infection is only just spreading to wilderness areas… perhaps upon contracting the infection zombies behave differently? Better yet… savannah makes me think animals… can anybody say zombie elephants?
