On topic: Gawsh damn mod needs release nao! Iām so butthurt about BMS not being released! It feels like I (emphasis on the āIā) have wasted DAYS waiting for this mod to be released. Devs are so selfish making me wait this long! :3

I totally get the complaining, but I donāt get why people have such little patience and think everybody else wants to hear them bitch.
Iāve been waiting for Black Mesa since 2004.
Thats back when it was called Black Mesa Source.
Thats before CMan2k was the Project Lead.
Thats before Catzeyes was on the team.
Thats before RAMINATOR was on the team!
Thats back when Combine Soldiers were used in place of HECU.
Thats also back when people EXPECTED only 1 media/news release per year, rather than bitching how thatās all they get.
If I can wait 7 years, I can sure as shit wait 7 more. It makes no difference to me at all as long as the finished project lives up to the hype.
Iām still wondering what makes anybody think that they absolutely have to work on this mod and release it to you all. Its a free game that theyāre working on in their free time. When in most of the time they have familyās to take care, jobs to go to, or school. The only benefit from this is the experience and the portfolio design. They have absolutely no obligation what so ever to even release this, and yet people have the nerve to come in here and complain that its not release, or dare say its dead.
Who gives them the right to say that they have to release this or say finish the mod, I say the fact that theyāve taken five years which is the amount of time most mods that have a good strict development take (Ex: Neotokyo, Zombie Panic, ect.) theyāre obviously working as hard as they can. I love seeing āIāve been waiting on this mod for seven years!ā when its been in development for about five.
So yes, Iām extremely confused by all the complaining as well. The development team obviously wants it release just as much as we do because its probably a huge burden to carry upon their shoulders in every day life. But hey, theyāre still working on it for your enjoyment. GOOD DAY SIRS.
