"I have decided to not release Half Life 2 Episode 3

Just beware of its pretty nose, it’s the only thing you could see before death :3

This is why Canada fails at everything :stuck_out_tongue:

Psst, it’s Saskatchewan.

I don’t think someone from a country that elected Bush twice can criticise that “Fail” of any other country… Ever.

:stuck_out_tongue:

Okay guys, we talked about random things long enough, let’s get back on topic, alright.

I think you missed the whole point of this topic being a “gag” topic, or as some may prefer, “troll bait”.
It’s a go nowhere thread, and it’s amazing that it’s still open.

There was a topic here?!! I don’t see one, where is it?

O_O

I’m going back to the discussion of episodic content from valve. I personally like it.
I would rather not wait another 6 years for a full length HL game. Ggranted you still have to wait quite a while between installments and they are a little short.
But who here can say they didn’t get great value from the Orange box? Portal, and TF2 are both awesome games.
Episode one was my lease favorite HL game, but I still enjoyed it. Plus I only paid like 8 bucks for it…so I’d say it’s pretty damned good when compared to the 60 bucks I paid for Fallout 3, or some of the other crap games out there that I’m forced to pay a super high price for.

Bah, go drive your zamboni into the tundra and hunt some moose.

Moose prefer the sub arctic climates as opposed to the tundra. That would be more befitting of Polar Bears and various sea creatures.

I don’t drive a zamboni where I don’t plan to skate, but damn, glassing the “tundra” I could be a national hero.

About the episodic content, I think the idea has finally bitten itself in the ass, well, insofar as Newell envisioned it. Perhaps Episode 3 won’t cost more than say the production of Half-Life 2 itself, however, if it takes longer to develop a mere episode of a series than an entire installment of the game itself, the idea renders itself pointless.

Now, that’s not to say it wouldn’t work for say, a game like Left 4 Dead (dear possible staff of Valve, please reread this line), but for a series such as Half-Life, not so much.

If this were real I’d probably still buy it.

We dont ride zambonis you fool! polar bears! POLAR BEARS DAMNNIT!! WE RIDE POLAR BEARS WHILE WE HUNT OUR MOOSE!!

And what are you going to kill it with? A hockey stick?

Actually we just throw beavers at them. our highly trained ATTACK beavers.

But wouldn’t they get frozen underwater in their river forts, as it is always Winter in Canada?

yeah well when that happens we just get those moose all stuck in maple syrup, THEN we use the hockey sticks to beat em.

I rest my case.

WE USE BEAR TRAPS AND PUT MAPLE SYRUP IN THEM. THEN WHEN THEY GET STUCK WE BEAT THEM WITH HOCKEY STICKS. :retard:

OH OH OH OH OH SHITCAKES MAJOR EDIT! LEFT 4 DEAD 2 IS COMING NOVEMBER 17! TRAILER IS HERE! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dSfsMJgypdw

PREPARE FOR BASEBALL BATS AND CHAINSAWS!

Eugh, i hate the Machinima channel. They just upload stuff they haven’t even produced themselves, but not before sticking their logo at the beginning and having their logo in the corner for the rest of the video… that they didn’t make…
But anyway, that’s kind of off topic. Then again, your talking about maple syrup and beavers. >.o

I didn’t think episode one wasn’t that bad… It had a lot of important story elements and had both a goddam epic beginning and ending.
The episodic thing on a whole i prefer in terms of continuing the story as opposed to telling the same story entitled as a sequel.

Well, apparently we didn’t fail at burning down thefucking whitehouse.
