"I have decided to not release Half Life 2 Episode 3

It was a bit dumbly put, but it is true the ‘epic moments’ get more epic and more frequent going from HL2 to Ep1 to Ep2.

Episode 2 has entered as No.1 on my favorite games list forever. Although the in this scenario, forever only stretching up till Ep3 is out.

Thing is, if you monitor the percentage increase in awesomeness in each game Valve brings out and add it up, by the time HL3 (Hypothetical for now) comes out, it would be considered nothing less then a revolution in gaming, just like Hl was, and even surpass it.

hl1 was made from epic and win ;f every partt was epic ;]

People who say EPIC and FAIL can shampoo my crotch.

Yikes, that’s uber versagen

i agree with those who said that half lives have only gotten [ … ] better with time , hl1 ep1 felt lacking because of it’s shortage , but it felt more like a necesity to make it short , if the story is written , it has a nice ending , it fits “the-book” pretty good , my opinion is that they tried to make all the episodes the lenght of ep1 at first , when they saw replies like "too shot too late"they started investing , which is good , too bad hl3 is so far away , but i can’t help but think if they improved their developing tools …

Invariably so!!

I played them for the storyline, but yeah, I understand where you’re coming from.
